Cleo's POV

After I woke up from my nap, I put on a red baby girl crop top and a pair of jean short shorts. I also brushed my hair and put on lite makeup so that I do not look like I just rolled out of bed. When I went downstairs, and they must have heard me getting ready upstairs because they where all at the table waiting for me.

I looked at each of them and said, “You guys are very nosey?”

Ashley replied, “You say that like you didn’t already know this about us. We have been this way from the very beginning so this shouldn’t come as a shocker to you.”

Aiden said, “Right what she said.”

 Jade said, “Alright first question. How was it?”

“Of course, you would ask that. It was amazing he is a very giving lover he refuses to c*m unless I have cummed multiple times and I love it. I mean I could always use a woman’s touch every now and then, but I think that I have to ease him into the thought of adding another into the mix.”

Marcy asked, “Do you really think that he is your mate?”

 “Yes, I feel the mating pull the only reason it hasn’t snapped into place is because of me.”

Ashley asked, “What do you mean by that?”

“I mean he is a cop and a wolf shifter. Plus, o n top of that I’m still trying to figure out what I am though I have a bit of a lead I need to get the rest of the information and process it before I can think about submitting to the mating bond.”

Aiden asked, “What do you know so far?”

“My mother may have been a succubus but I’m not sure. Liam and I are going to visit my sperm donors’ pride and hopefully he can tell me more about my mother so that I can track her down if she is still alive that is.”

Luke said, “I thought you told us that he refused to talk to you or even mention who your mom is.”

“That’s the benefit of knowing an Alpha. Liam convinced the pride leader to get him to talk.”

Ashley said, “So, when are you going to go to the Sin Pack?”

“I’m not sure we didn’t exactly set up a date but I’m hoping soon. Is that all the questions about my personal life?”

 Jade replied, “Yeah, I think so. We can talk about something else now.”

Ashley asked, “like what?”

 I replied, “Like how we have a change of plans that could either make this heist easier or could make it damn near impossible.”

Luke asked, “What are you talking about?”

 “Well instead of keeping the jewels on display they are going to transport them to a more secure location that happens to be the f*****g Alcatraz of vaults but there is a bit of a silver lining because we can just rob the truck before it gets there. Which also is a problem considering that the guards doing the transport are both shifter and human. So, what do you guys think?”

Ashley asked, “first how the f**k did you get this intel?”

Jade asked, “second is the intel reliable?”

Dominic asked, “and third how the f**k do we rob an armored car with not only human guards but shifter too?”

 “To answer you guys questions as I was hacking into the museums systems before I inputted a mini virus. And before you ask the virus cannot be tracked back to me if they even find it which there is a very slim chance. But the virus is programmed to alert me if key words come up and this is what it alerted me to. So, to summarize yes, the intel is credible seeing how its coming directly from them. As for the other question I have no f*****g idea, but I am open to any suggestions.”

Jade replied. “we can drug them.”

 Dominic asked, “drug them?”

Jade replied with a smile on her face “Yeah with like a blow dart of something like that which would both incapacitate them but also erase their memory of us if they happen to see us or get a whiff of our scents. And we can do the same to the humans but with a lesser dose so that it doesn’t kill them.”

Mary said, “The problem with that is how are we going to get this magical drug with blow darts in less than twenty-four hours.”

Jade replied, “Well I already have it developed for shifters I would just have to tweak the formula to be able to use it on humans.”

I said, “Explain?”

Jade replied, “It’s my second job. We have been trying to see if we can reverse the affects of going feral. The team who is working on the formula with me figured if we could erase the memory of a feral shifter, we could reformulate them back into the shifter society just like you would a baby. So far we have only been able to erase a few hours of memory from the polar bear shifter we have been testing on which comes in handy for our situation.”

  Aiden said, “I have so many questions.”

Ashley looked at Jade and said, “I second that statement.”

Jade shook her head and said, “Alright fine but let’s keep this Q and A session to a minimum seeing how I have work to do.”

I said, “alright I will ask all the questions that we all are thinking about starting with when the hell did you get a second job? Why didn’t you tell us about it? Why are you using shifters as guinea pigs?”

Jade answered with a small smile on her face like she was happy to finally get this off her chest but still kind of irritated that she was being questioned, “I got the job a few years ago and its not what it sounds like it is not a human facility it is shifters testing on other shifters and it’s trying to help our kind. We must kill so many of our own kind to keep the humans at bay and we are becoming out numbered so if we can fix or reverse the feral process, we can rebuild our numbers and be better equipped to defend ourselves against extremists and human who hate us. I didn’t think you guys would approve of the work I’m doing so I made the decision to just not tell you and I am terribly sorry about that I just didn’t want you guys to hate me or look at me differently.”

I replied, “Jade we could never hate you good or bad we are a family. And family does not give up or abandon each other just because of a difference of opinion. We love you too much for that.”

Everyone else said at the same time, “Agreed.”

I started to walk back to my room to try to figure out how the hell we were going to get this s**t done but before I got to the stairs, I looked at Jade and said, “If you ever decide to keep secrets from me, I will punish you in a way that I will enjoy very much. Do you understand me Jade?”

Jade replied, “yes I understand. I am sorry for keeping secrets from you will you forgive me? I will never do it again I swear.”

I finished heading up to my room but as I was walking up the stairs, I could hear Luke ask, “what kind of punishment is she talking about and do we even want to know?”

Eric replied, “yes you want to know but we are not going to tell you.”

Ashley said, “she just said not to keep any secrets.”

Jade replied, “from her. She said not to keep any secrets from her she didn’t say anything about not keeping secrets from your nosey asses.”

Dominic said, “and there goes the loophole.”

I laughed and went up to my room and decided to try and find out more about the transfer. I was looking for the route that they were going to take, the type of shifters that are going to be on the heist, and where on the route that they are taking is going to have a blind spot in the cameras. It took me a few hours to try and figure everything out and I ended up dozing off when I was finished. I woke up to the sound of my phone ringing it was still light outside, so I was not sleep for long, so I went and grabbed my phone and answered it.

I said, “hey what can I do for you?”

Liam said, “Its more of what I can do for you?”

“what do you mean by that?”

“I just got off the phone with your fathers pride alpha and your father has requested that, and I quote that we get this over with. So are you busy today we can take a helicopter and get there and back before nightfall. What do you say?”

“I would have to get ready, but this may be the only time that I can get the answers that I need so I am up for the trip just give me an hour or so.”

“alright I will see you soon then.”

I got up and went into my closet and I grabbed a strapless black bra with matching thong. I kept looking for an outfit after I put it on and I found a Armelle black faux leather belt bandeau bodycon dress, 7" heel matte black platform knee high stripper boots, a leather choker necklace that had diamonds imbedded in it that made out the word ‘Princess’ it was a submissive chocker even though I am far from being submissive. I went to my mirror and decided to do my hair and makeup. I put on false eyelashes, mascara, matte red lipstick, blush and eyeshadow when I was satisfied with my makeup I started on my hair. I wanted to do something simple with my hair, but I also did not want it blowing into my face seeing how we are taking a helicopter there, so I just put my hair into a high ponytail. I stood up and looked at myself in the mirror. I plumped my t**s up a little bit so that they were in the perfect position to stay supported by the bra but also gave me the pushup look with major cleavage. Liam texted me that the helicopter was waiting for us at the police stations helipad and that he was on the way to pick me up, so I went, and I grabbed my Jimmy Choo elish mini embossed leather clutch with polished metal border with a tassel.

I walked downstairs and the first to notice me was Eric and he asked, “where are you going looking like you’re going to a bondage club?”

I laughed and replied, “I am going to go meet my father with Liam, but I will be back before tonight. I would like for you to go into my room and look over the information that I figured out and see if it would work and tweak it if you need to. I will be home in time to discuss the plan so can you let the others look at it too.”

 Eric replied, “alright and don’t give him any slack. Get your answers no matter what.”

 “I promise I will get answers I am so tired of not knowing about my mother and why I was at that orphanage to begin with if my father is alive.”

“alright I will let you go I will let the others know about what is going on enjoy your day.”

I got out of the house and got into my car and I turned on the radio and I started to sing one of my favorite songs by Charlie Puth.

When I finally got to the station Liam was in front of my car waiting for me. He opened my car door for me, and I stepped out he looked at me and said, “damn. You look amazing.” I said, “thank you now let’s get on this helicopter and get to the Sin pack. Are you sure that they are expecting us?” “yes, I am sure that they are expecting us I would never lie to you.” “yes, you would even though you already know that you would never get away with it but the male protective genes in you will tell you that you are lying to protect me or that it is for my own good even though it will be complete bullshit.” We walked hand in hand into the police station and up to the helipad and he helped me inside and helped me buckle up and after he got himself settled, we headed to my fathers’ pride lands with my heart pounding due to nervousness on the answers that I am going to get.
