I clutched my phone tightly in my hands and my knuckles were almost turning white.
How in the world did Laura know I was here? I had only spent one night here and she already knew? It felt suspicious. It was either she was monitoring me from outside, or she had someone in Alessandro's house.
"I hope you understand that I do not make empty threats," Laura's voice came in again.
