Sophia's POV.
"What?" I said as Ray repeated what he said.
My hands suddenly became sweaty and my phone almost slipped from my hands but I quickly held it tight.
I was shocked and could not move. It was as if my legs were tied to the ground.
"How? What just happened?" I asked myself, my voice trembling.
"Sophia! Can you hear me?!" Ray's sharp voice brought me out of my shock.
"Yes, I can hear you and I'm coming right away." I said and ended the call.
I ran back to the house, my heart hammering against my ribs so hard it felt like it might break free.
My breathing became intensified and my hands trembled. I had never been so terrified in my entire life like the way I was now.
