Alessandro's POV.
I stared at her, searching her face for a reaction. I didn't know if this was the right time to ask the question, but I needed to know if she truly meant what she had said.
She had captured a part of my heart. I thought of her during the time of my abduction. I had escaped with the sole purpose of returning to her. Not a moment passed when I didn't regret declining that movie date with her that morning.
I didn't just like her, I realized she meant much more to me. She wasn't just a woman to satisfy my needs, she was much more.
"Please answer me..." I muttered, my tone almost pleading.
She stared blankly at me for a second, her expression unreadable before she began speaking.
