"Yes, I'll help you," Marcus said, nodding firmly. "I can't lose my daughter to that evil bastard."
Marcus was so afraid for Sophia's safety. The men had shown him different evidence of why Alessandro was extremely dangerous.
"But if she becomes a spy, won't that put her in more danger?" Marcus asked, trembling in fear. "He might kill her if he finds out that she's relaying his information to you people."
