The cab pulled up into the Voss estate, and Rachel stepped out of the car, her face unreadable. Hana followed her behind. She still wore the hospital band under the long sleeve coat Hana had brought earlier.
Hana suddenly sighed. “Mrs. Voss…”
Rachel turned, curious. “Yes?”
She continues, “I informed him about your condition, but Marissa convinced him that you went to meet your boyfriend…” she exhales. “Out of fury, I challenged Marissa and…” she hesitated. “Mrs. Evangeline sacked me in the process. I don't have a job anymore.”
