Lena The door slammed hard against the walls but I didn't flinch. What was I expecting? I didn't expect him to smile out of my room, did I? I didn't move, I stayed put at the edge of the bed, my back was straight and my hands rested gently on my thighs. When I was certain I couldn't hear his retreating footsteps anymore, I slowly rammed my fingers against my hair roughly. Then my nails bit into my skin hard. If I closed my eyes for a second, I couldn't get the image from last night off my head and I felt so disappointed in myself. Blaming what happened last night on a scent from that candle was just an excuse, I should have tried harder in resisting him, but instead, I gave in so cheaply.
