LENA I bit my fingers, and I was unable to calm down no matter how hard I tried. I paced around the tent, waiting for Alec to come back. It had been an entire day, and every time I asked the guards who were protecting me what was going on, they simply refused to say anything. It was driving me crazy, not knowing what was going on in the battlefields. I felt a sharp pain in my stomach, and I realized that I hadn't rested for the entire day. No matter what, the life of my child was still the most important thing to me, and so I sat down for a bit.
