Chaos filled the pack, and I could only watch as soldiers went back and forth trying to defend the pack. Everything was a mess, and I didn't know fully what was going on.
I had heard from some of the soldiers that there was a trap. Alpha Roman had tricked Alec into thinking that he was going to attack the borders of our pack only for him to turn around and attack the pack house.
It was a good thing Jace was in the pack because he was prepared to deal with him. If Jace had gone with Alec then the consequences would have been dire.
It made me wonder if Alec knew this was going to happen from the start and if that was why he made Jace stay back.
I was restless, as I wondered if this was going to affect my well laid out plans.
