"What did you just say?" I looked at alpha Roman with shock and disbelief, unable to accept what he had just said.
He pushed me off him and stood up, with a sneer on his face.
"Your alpha, Alec, has chosen a new Luna barely a month after you went missing. Do you really think that he cares about you? Do you think that your loyalty to him matters?" He mocked me coldly.
Tears rolled down my cheeks when I heard this, even though I knew that Alec did not care about me, even though I knew that he could not wait to get rid of me, it still hurt me to hear this.
Sniffing back my tears, I tried my best to remain tough. It wasn't as if crying was going to solve anything for me.
"Do you ..do you know who the new Luna is?" I asked, my voice shaky.
Deep down, I already had an answer.
