Chapter 2: New people

Her name is Maia,and she will be in your class so take care of your new friend,the teacher said introducing Maia to other students.

All the students started said hello and got back to their work.

Maia was afraid her sister sia was in the other sections because sia scored more points than Maia but as soon Maia found another new girl student she smiled at her and opened her text.

Lunch break-----

Hey can sit with you,the new girl said to Maia.

Yeah sure, Maia replied

My name is Lucy,the girl said.

They both began to talk,day after day they started to play together and hangout.

Maia and Lucy made more friends and now Maia was not uncomfortable now in her new school.

Maia lived a normal kids life with her friends, she was kind hearted and a playful kid.

---------Maia was good at sports and art, so whenever there was a competition she would apply as a hobby. She had a lot of trophies and teachers praised her that she is an active student, which made her happy.

But her parents thought it's just not a good thing at all just a waste of time.

They told her to concentrate on her studies.

Maia wanted to live a free open life but her dreams were just dreams of hers. But she was always great full to have friends who have her side.

Maia was energetic and joyful amoung them all.

Maia is now in 8 grade and she told save her a seat in the canteen,as she wanted to use the bathroom.

When she got back their was no one they all had already left. She felt like she is being ignored,as time goes by same thing happens and she became insecure about it.

Maia wanted to spend more time with her friends but they made other friends and Maia was disappointed that she was never their friends but they just used her to get close to people who Maia know.

She realised that having her own company is more suitable.

Maia started to live in a separate zone

And waited untill school ended.

Maia joined High school but she kept distance from others. But could not just ignore others she was a teenager and wanted to have fun too.

Maia started to hangout with her new classmates, forgetting what she suffered from before.

She was happy living her new life untill she was in a bad situation again,she started to ignore her studies and hangout with her friends.

Untill one day when she reached home her father was waiting for her along mother and sister beside him.

As she reached close to her father, her father slapped her hard. Maia could feel the muscles beating on her face and face burning up.

You are an ungrateful scum, I have have been paying for your studies and you have been having fun all the time, your brother told me every thing,his father said in a rageious voice.

Maia looked at her sister with a hateful look and walked towards her room.

You are grounded and you are not allowed to have friends ever, her father screamed.

Maia slammed the door and layed on the bed to cry thinking her parents were always like this to her since childhood but now they are taking her freedom away. She cried alot and stoped interacting with her parents and friends.

But soon Maia realised that parents are telling her a good thing.

As all this time she was at home her friends didn't tried to reach her.
