The morning light filters through the curtains, casting a soft, golden glow over the bedroom. I slowly wake up, feeling the warmth of Ryan’s body pressed against mine. His arm is draped lazily over my belly, his hand resting on the swell of our baby girl. I watch him for a moment, his face peaceful in sleep, a rare sight considering the chaos we've been through. Things have changed between us, settled, in a way. We’re living together again, sharing the same bed, and for the first time in a long while, there’s no distance between us.
