BREELYNN’S POV
With Aldric’s lips still gently kissing me and my body humming, I decided that I never wanted this moment to end. So, when he pulls away and sits up, I mumble my disappointment. I hear his deep laugh and him telling me I need to open my eyes.
“Fine,” I reply with my best bratty voice; as I open my eyes, my brain tries to comprehend what I see. I am still in the clearing but sitting upright, fully dressed. Galina and ChiChi are watching me; it is as if nothing ever happened. I am sitting on the pillow, holding the stone cup with a tiny amount of tea and the herbs coating the bottom. I turn to my left; Galina is impatiently studying me with curiosity in her eyes. She takes the cup from me, hands it back to ChiChi, and takes my hands in hers.
