BREELYNN POV’S
I am not sure how long I have been standing here, staring at the last spot I saw Shiho as she disappeared down the walkway, but I do know that I need to leave. I should have left after that freaky kneeling thing. I turn, putting my back to Aldric’s house, literally and symbolically, and make my way back to the bonfire so I can get in my car and drive away from this place forever.
Since the walk back wasn’t s relaxing, my steps were quicker and more determined. As much as I try to push them out, Shiho’s words keep returning to haunt me. And I don’t know which bothers me the most, the fact she was his girlfriend, or that he just tossed her out because of me, or that he is pawning me off on her and making her be my friend because he is too busy to deal with me, or…
