BREELYNN’S POV Walking out of the hospital with Bryce, I noticed the attention I was getting was much more positive than when I came in. Some of the staff bowed to me. Others just smiled. “Well, everyone is friendlier. When I first came in, I thought they all hated me. Even you kind of scared me.” I admit to him. He explains, “Sorry, Luna, but you came in with a bloody Omega and another Alpha. It wasn’t hate that you were sensing, but trepidation.” He opens the door that leads to the front driveway. I walk out, and he follows as I tease him, “Using fancy words, are we?” Immediately spotting the Suburban still parked crooked in the driveway, I notice blood on the door handle, and I know the inside is also covered with it. I have no idea how I will explain that to the car rental place. “
