⚜️3 R D P O V ⚜️Ahmed stared in awe at his queen. She was sleeping peacefully on the sofa, in his clothes; the blanket was wrapped around her tiny body. Lord, did she looked stunning. He could just kiss the life out of her if that is even possible. Quickly he walked toward her and bent down in front of her face. He then tucked the strand of her hair behind her ear, smiling at how beautiful she is. She started to mumble things in her sleep, causing Ahmed to chuckle. Giving a kiss on the cheek, he went outside, standing there while realizing a sigh of relief. He can't amaze losing her for the rest of his life. It ached his heart, not able to do anything besides guard her life with his. His job was getting very dangerous, and he knows it. Somehow he had to protect her while doing his job. There is no other way. Cops car came from all directions with the red and blue light on. He mentally cursed himself for forgetting to tell Hunter that everything was alright. "Did you find her? Is she okay?" JJ questioned, running toward him. "She is fine. Sleeping on the sofa, peacefully," Ahmed answered. "It was a false alarm, all along. How did that bastard know that you have a wife? I mean, barely everyone in the departments knows besides our team," JJ acknowledged, looking around.  "I really don't know. What I know is that Zarah is not safe here either. I need to find a place where no one knows about it," he spoke in a severe tone. "I know a place. My parents had an ancient house where they use to live when they were alive. If you want, I can give you the address to the house," she offered. "Where is it?" He questioned, running his hand down his face in exhaustion. "A place where people usually don't go at all. It's a nice, quiet, and soothing place. She will love it," JJ smiled, patting his back. "Thanks, we'll leave right away," he smiled back. "I'll let Hunter know about this situation. However, you need to keep us updated on your status," she ordered. "What are you doing here? Aren't you suppose to be with him," Ahmed questioned as he watched Hunter walk towards them.  "You see," Hunter released a nervous chuckle, "we kinda lost him." "WHAT!?" JJ and Ahmed yelled out loud at the same time.  "He planned all this out. He never knew you had a wife. It was a distraction all along. That son of a b***h had a tracker on him the whole time," cursed Hunter.  "What happened?" "I was sending teams to your house in case anything happened, and by the look of it, nothing happened. He took this chance to bail out," Answered Hunter.  "That little bastard. Now how are you supposed to get his brother if we can’t have him?" JJ questioned, running her hair through her dirty blond hair.  "We will get him. Now is not the time; I need to take Zarah someplace safe. Then we will deal with this guy and his brother," Ahmed looked back toward the house. "Alright, man. We are going back to our office to see if we can do anything. Call us if you need anything," Hunter shook Ahmed's hand.  "Bye, take good care of her," JJ grinned. "Thank you, guys. I will," he assured. ⚜️Z A R A H P O V ⚜️ Opening my eyes, I got up from the bed. It was dark all of a sudden but quite windy. I covered my mouth as a yawn left my mouth. Grabbing my stomach, I stepped down the stairs to cook something because my stomach was rumbling. I am famished that I could eat an elephant! Am I getting fat, or is it just me, eating a lot. Who cares, right? Food is food! I mean, who doesn't love food. As I walked down the stairs, I heard a couple of voices coming behind the main door. In curiosity, I moved closer to the sound. I don't know what, but this new feeling came along, inside of me. Anger swirled like a red ride within me, rising to choke me. Who was this lady? Why is she so close to Ahmed. Seeing her laugh with him caused my breath to harshened and swallowed; my hand automatically curled into fists at my side. He is mine! Who does she think she is, trying to steal my man from me. Especially going on my man like as if she is her. Oh, how I wish I could rip her blonde hair off. 'Now! Now, Zarah,! Calm yourself down, just walk away and make yourself some food,' I told myself. How can I think about food when my man is laughing with another woman who is not me! First of all, how dare he?! I will show him! Storming toward the kitchen, I slammed the frying pan on the stove, putting some vegetables to cook. I can't cook because of him. How can he do this to me? I am not about to cry. Nope! No way!  It must be my hormones. Yeah, that’s it. I am just behaving like this because of my hormones.  Hearing his loud footsteps, I didn't bother to turn around. "Oh! You are awake," he finally acknowledged my extension. How can he, when he is too busy laughing with other women?  "What are you making?" he asked, moving toward the kitchen island. "Can't you see it with your two eyes, or are you blind?" I snapped.  "What the hell is your problem? I am trying to be nice here, but all you do is snap at me for no damn reason," he growled. Spinning around, I faced him. When he met me, there was no trace of tears, not in his eyes or track marks on his reddening face. His eyes were narrowed, rigid, cold, hard. At that moment, I knew he was already far away. Once more, I was the enemy. I was done waiting for him to show me. Show me that he loves me or cares for me. I want to give up on this marriage. Every single day, we fight, and this fight doesn't get us anywhere in our lives. We can't live our life like this. We just can't! I poked his chest with every single word that came out of my mouth, "you don't get to yell at me! You don't have the right to be angry. I do! All you have been doing is taking me away from the people I love, and then you walked away to your stupid job as if I am not in your life at all. How can I be when you have someone else in your life." "What the hell are you talking about?" he asked in a lack of understanding about what I just told him. I know that game, and I am not going to fall for it. "Don't play dumb with me. I know everything. I know about her," I snarled.  "Who?" he scratched the back of his neck. "That girl!" I screamed in frustration, "don't act like you don't know who I am talking about. Who was she, Ahmed? Is she one of your girlfriends?" A lazy smirk appeared on his face as he crossed his arms over his chest. I fist my knuckles, ready to punch him. Oh, that boy!! He is asking for it. He leaned closer to my face and whispered in the sexiest voice ever, "you're jealous.” "What?" I quickly turned around, "I am not jealous. What in the world are you talking about?" "Admit it, you are jealous," he said again, and this time you can see the smile behind it. "I am not jealous. You are just assuming thing," I mumbled, going back to the stove. "So you won't mind if I go back to JJ?" He questioned, following me.  "That's her name? JJ? Of course, you would know. Why in the world do I have to put up with this Allah?" I asked, looking up at the sky. "Alright then, Ima go to JJ’s," he announced.  "Make sure to take your belonging and don't come back," I snapped, turning off the stove and storming away. While I tried but his big, muscular hand wrapped around my waist, preventing me from moving. Putting his head on the crook of my head, he sniffed my hair. "You smell good, babe," he complimented, taking another sniff of my scent.  "Thanks," I mumbled, getting a little upset. Why was I feeling so upset to hear Ahmed go to another women’s place? I have never felt this type of feeling.  "Are you sad?" he asked, and I nodded my head, "don't worry. I was only messing around with you. You're my wife, and I am your husband. We are meant to be together. JJ is just a co-worker. And besides, and is like 10 years older than me, already married with 3 kids." I turned around to face him, "Why do you like to make me so angry?" "It turns me on," he chuckled. "Y-you are unbelievable," I breathed out.  "Unbelieved for only you," he muttered, rubbing our nose together. "Does that even make any sense?" I asked. "Don't know. Don't care," Ahmed mumbled. Just then, his stomach started to rumble like a dinosaur. I wasn't able to stop myself from laughing at that. "Come on, let's get you something to eat," I laughed, dragging him to the stool. I started to make Chicken Chow Mein from him and be. In all honesty, I haven't had any Chinese food in a very long time. After I finished cooking, I served it to him, and we ate together. Well, he preferred that we eat on one plate to save water, so I had to feed him while I was on his lap the whole time. He wouldn't let go of me. I swear this man acts like a total baby when coming home, but I heard that he is vulgar and not so lovely during work. I don't know how lucky I got to have a husband like him.
