⚜️ Z A R A H P O V ⚜️"Get ready; we are leaving," he commanded.
"I am not your slave that you can just command around. I will not go until you tell me where we are going," I crossed my hand over my chest.
"I don't have time for this. If-" his phone ringing cut him off.
"Yeah. I'll be there in a second," he hung up the phone.
"I am going to be late. Make sure you eat before going to bed," he instructed.
"Yeah, whatever. Don't worry about me. This time, just return home after a year later," I muttered, rolling my eyes at him.
"I will be home when I get home," that he walked out of the room.
That little. No! Zarah, don't get angry. Cool.
Gg! I can't. It's like his work is more important than me. Call me selfish all you want, but I want him to be with me. I want to spend some time with him and have a normal couple life like everyone else.
I grabbed a book of the night sled and looked through.
Sound like an interesting book, I thought.
I started to read the book. After a couple of minutes later, I kind of got bored of reading that book, so I headed toward the kitchen and started to prepare some good. I was quite hungry. The rest of the day, I either watched TV or did other things to keep myself busy.
To be honest, I was somewhat concerned about him. This job is perilous. Allah forbids that I lose him forever. I would definitely dislike that quite much. Losing him can't even be in my brain in the first place. It can't. It brings grief to my heart, makes me feel like someone is stabbing me a million times
⚜️ 3 R D P O V ⚜️"Ahmed, we know how this guy is; he is very threatening. I don't think you-"
"No matter how threatening this guy is, I am ten times more terrifying than he is" Ahmed cut off JJ.
"That you are," Hunter walked in with a coffee cup, "for the past 3 years I have known you, I have never seen you give up. Nor have I ever seen you with a partner. I won't repeat it, for this mission, you need a partner who will have you back."
"Thanks but no thanks. I am completely fine working on my own. Having a partner will only slow me down," Ahmed shook his head while fixing his gun, "do you have any other information on this guy that we are after?"
"All we know is that his older brother in the gang, who has been dealing with a lot of drugs for the past 20 years. His brother is also the most wanted criminal by all the 50 states in the USA," informed JJ, taking a sip of her drink.
"Police or the FBI could not arrest this guy because the evidence vanished into thin air without a trace. Every Time they find evidence, it disappears," Hunter continued.
"We'll chance that in about 3 hours," Ahmed smirked.
"Don't get to smartypants now. He is brilliant," Reid warned, joining the meeting.
"That's why we have you on the outside. Intelligent, plus brilliant that can not be compared to other human beings," Ahead commented, patting his hand over Reid's shoulder, which Reid shook off.
"Gabriel Ziva Rodrigo. If you are going to bring his little brother down, then you gotta bring him down first," Stated Penelope.
"Baby girl, what you got for us?" Ahmed cheered.
"Gabriel Ziva Rodrigo. 45 years old man who has over a hundred drug dealing company. You would be surprised the number of killing he did for the past 2 years," she said, handing everyone a file on Gabriel Ziva Rodrigo.
"Damn! This same guy killed 500 people?" Hunter's eyes widened, shocked to see the numbers too high. In his lifespan, he had never seen this many people being killed by one person. It was astounding what one man could do.
"Apparently yes, and we don't have enough evidence to put him behind the bar," Penelope sigh.
"Then let's get the Alpha," Ahmed exasperated.
"Not that easy," Reid cleaned his glasses.
"Oh, but it is," smirked Ahmed.
"What are you thinking of this time?" JJ gave him a suspicious look.
"Something outstanding," he devilishly smiled before pulling his phone out, "do we have a phone number of this guy?"
Penelope nodded her head before transferring the phone number to Ahmed’s phone. Ahmed dialed the number on his phone and commended that they track this phone call. It would be easier to locate him if they did that.
'Hello, Mr. Rodrigo?'
'Who is this?’
‘We got a good deal,' Ahmed stated.
'What's your name?'
'Liam, sir,’ he answered.
'Is this your first time?"
I don't want to talk over the phone too much. Is there a place we can meet up?' He inquires.
'Smart kid. I need someone as smart as you. Meet me as Mountlake,' Rodriguez ordered before hanging up the phone.
“Are you crazy!” exclaimed Hunter, “what the hell are you thinking going for the Alpha?”
"Don’t worry. We load his truck with drugs and act as we caught him. Call the news reporter after I tell you. We will catch this guy for sure," he explained.
"You're such a genius," Commented Reid in a sarcastic tone, rolling his eyes.
"Oh, yeah? You got any idea, Mr. I-know-everything," Ahmed mocked, glaring at him.
"Now, now, children. Be nice to each other, or I will whoop you all with a belt," Ordered JJ in a motherly tone, which clearly says not to mess with her.
"He started it," Ahmed whined.
"What are we? 5 years old, that you two have to whine about who started what. Guys, concentrate on this mission. Hotch isn't here, and he left me in charge. So get your shits together and catch this guy," Hunter snapped, getting impatient with this childish behavior.
"Yes, mother," Ahmed said contemptuously, "you know you should wear one of that grandma dress; that would definitely suit you."
"Very funny," Hunter stated sarcastically.
"I know," he smiled before leaving the office to capture this guy.
"I don't know how his wife handles him," JJ shook her head in disbelief.
As Ahmed said, they went according to the plan. They put drugs in Gabriel Ziva Rodrigo’s truck and made it seem like he was selling drugs. There were a lot of news reporters around, flashing their cameras at them. It will definitely spread around the world, the biggest gang boss getting captured. This way, Ahmed can make sure that Gabriel Ziva Rodrigo doesn’t escape this time so easily.
"You made the biggest mistake in the world by capturing me," Gabriel spat out, fighting against the handcuff. He was seated inside the interrogation room, where there were only a table, three chairs, and a glass window, where you can only see through from outside the room. Ahmed made sure to keep the handcuff on Gabriel, so he doesn’t do anything to hurt others.
"I am so scared," Ahmed smirked.
"You have the guts, kid; I’ll give you that. However, you don't have the brain," he laughed mockingly.
"You know what? You are right. That's why your ass is on this seat, in front of me, ready to go behind those bars," Ahmed mimicked.
"If my brother-"
"What is your brother gonna do? If he has the guts, then tell him to face me like the coward he is," Ahmed slammed his desk on the brown wooden table.
"Should you be at home?" Gabriel spoke, then slowly, a smirk appeared on his face, "perhaps protecting your wife."
That made Ahmed stand up straight. In anger, he clenched his fist, ready to punch him in the face. Gabriel couldn't' help but smile. He knows he hit the spot. If Ahmed thought Gabriel was stupid, then he clearly was not thinking. Because Gabriel knew everything all along, he just had to play the act.
"Agent Ahmed, you thought you got me, but you didn't. You see, you didn't catch me. I let myself get caught," Gabriel cracked his knuckle, pushed back, sitting in a relaxing position on his chair. He was enjoying this very much, no doubt about it.
"What are you talking about?" Ahmed questioned in confusion
"When the time is right, you will know everything. However, for now, you need to call home and see if your sweet little wife is home. Alive, might I add. You never know what may happen. It takes one simple call," Gabriel released a dark laugh.
"Why, you little f*****g bastard. If anything happened to her, I’d shoot you without thinking twice," he threatened to slam Gabriel against the wall, choking him.
Anger worse in his body that nobody could control him. Gabriel shouldn't have brought his wife to this. Grabbing Gabriel by the collar of his shirt, Ahmed threw him across the room. He stormed towards Gabriel, punching his face multiple times; blood comes out of Gabriel's mouth and nose.
"s**t," cursed Hunter.
Hunter didn't think twice before running to the room, pushing Ahmed off. However, he cursed under his breath, thinking what the hell was this guy made out of because he wouldn't push Ahmed away. No matter what Hunter did, he couldn't pull Ahmed away. In the end, he was able to pull Ahmed away.
"Go check on your wife," Hunter spoke softly, patting his back.
"It's a bit too late, don't you think," Gabriel choked out, laughing hard. Blood started to come out of his mouth due to the amount of impact his face took.
Before Ahmed can beat him up again, Hunter stepped him, "Don't. Go! Your wife might need you. I'll send backup."
Ahmed ran out the door, heading straight to his car. He grabbed his phone, dialed the house phone, but Zarah wasn't pick up the phone.
"Damn it, Zarah! Pick up the damn phone," he growled, slamming his steering wheel.
He dialed multiple times, trying to keep his patient. However, patience was running out on him. Not answering the phone wasn't helping him either.
As soon as he was in front of the house, he ran in, not thinking twice about anything. Looking every inch of the house, he didn't find her. His heart tightened, thinking that she was in danger. When he entered the living room, he shook his head in disbelieve.
