⚜️ Z A R A H P O V ⚜️It was one in the morning when I got up from my sleep. For some reason, I couldn't sleep at all, so I walked to the window balcony in the living room. Having a cup of coffee in front of me, I looked at the scene in front of me. It is so beautiful. Allah’s creation is just amazing. It's beyond describable of me.
The other day I was reading something on a website called Islamic City. I haven't read anything about Islam in a long time, and it was due to me being all messed up with my life that I totally forgot about Allah. I am ashamed of forgetting him.
Anyway, I was amazed by what I have read. It said that the Prophet (PBUH) has said that Allah is beautiful and He loves beauty. It is for this that the whole of Allah's creation has been designed and created according to the highest heavenly standard of splendor and order impossible to be ever emulated by anyone.
That sentence warmed my heart out. It was as if Allah gave light to me once again, to show me the right way, stopping me from doing the wrong deed.
My thoughts were broken when a soft hand wrapped around my waist, causing me to jump a little. I felt the warmness that was coming out of that body; I knew it was Ahmed.
"What are you doing here?" he mumbled against my head.
"I couldn't sleep, so I came here," I answered, sipping coffee.
"Coffee at this time?"
"Yeah!"
"I want to take you-" he was interrupted by his phone, "-I'll be right back."
Like always, our moment gets cut by his phone. I wish that I could break that phone with a hammer. I would definitely love that.
"We gotta go," he ran towards me. Hearing the urgency in his voice, I understood something was not right. I nodded my head without questioning him. He grabbed my arms tightly and dragged me out the door.
When we got out the door, that same lady was standing in front of a black SUV car. She smiled our way. She was wonderful. She had a sculpted figure, which was twine-thin. Her waist was tapered, and she had a burnished complexion. A pair of arched eyebrows looked down on sweeping eyelashes. Her delicate ears framed a button nose. A set of dazzling, angel-white teeth gleamed as she blew gently on her carmine-red fingernails.
"'Hey! Finally, I can meet you. This i***t won't even let any of us meet you, trying to keep you to all himself. I am JJ, by the way," she introduced me with a hug, which caught me by surprise.
Wrapping my hand around here, I said, "I know who you are. Call me, Zarah."
"Oh, did he tell you about me already?" she chuckled, getting in the car next to me.
"You will be surprised the way I introduced you," Ahmed laughed, getting in the driver's seat.
From the back seat, I gave him a death glare. He looked through the mirror and winked at me, presiding blush all over my face. This is so embarrassing.
"Have you told her yet, Ahmed?" JJ asked him all of a sudden.
"Tell me what?" I looked between the two of them.
"No, not yet, JJ. It would have been better if you keep it quiet," he grumbled, looking at us from the mirror.
"Tell me about what?" I questioned again cerous about whats was happening. Ahmed has been keeping everything to himself. He doesn’t share a lot of information or how his day was. He has been secretive.
Whenever I ask if anything was wrong, he always states that everything was alright. However, I know that nothing is okay. I can see it because he doesn’t get enough sleep at night. Every 5 min, he would wake up and peek through the windows as if he’s worried that someone might attack us. He would walk around the house with a flashlight and his gun in hand.
"About-about the date, he is about to take you," JJ smiled. I blushed hearing this. We never went on a date. Ahmed didn’t have time for these sorts of things. Yet, I wished every day that we would go on a date someday and spend the day together, just us. Although Ahmed did take me to a beautiful place, I wouldn’t consider a date.
"It was supposed to be a surprise, but as you can see, JJ ruined at" he narrows his eyes at JJ.
"Sorry," she nervously laughed. I smiled at JJ, stating that it was okay. I looked out the car window, enjoying the view.
⚜️ 3 R D P O V ⚜️Upon arriving at their destiny, Ahmed got out of the car and went to his wife's side, picked her up by bride style. He was relieved that JJ somehow created a lie, but she made it even worse. He detests lying to Zarah, but that is the only way not to get her involved in this situation, even tho she’s already involved in it.
He got a call in the morning from Hunter, saying that Gabriel has been looking for him and his wife. Gabriel has his man scattered around the city to hunt them down, but JJ came just in time to pick them up.
Currently, they are in JJ's house for the night. While until he has something or someway to get to his other destination. He gently put Zarah on one of the beds. He walked out of the room to meet up with his team.
"I am sorry, Ahmed. I didn't know that she doesn't know that, yet", JJ apologized, feeling guilty about it.
"Don't sweat it. I don't want her to know because I know she will be worried," he waved off, "but what I do know is how in the world am I supposed to take her to a date right now!"
"What? You mean you haven't taken her to date?" Hunter questioned in shock.
"Nope!"
"What kind of a husband are you, Ahmed? My husband at least took me to 5 dates after we got married!" she exclaimed, hitting Ahmed.
"Singledom is inertia. According to a commonly cited statistic from Neil Clark Warren, over half of the people who report their relationship status as "single" say they haven't been on a date in two years. There's potentially a reason for this. When polled, 40% of men say that they are "scared" when first interacting with a potential mate," Reid suddenly started to read facts that were in his brain somehow.
"Shut up, Reid! I am not scared. I just didn't have the time to take her to date," Ahmed grumbled, giving Reid a little shove.
"Well, we are going to fix that by tonight," JJ promised.
"What?! Tonight? We can't," Ahmed yelled as his eye got big. In honesty, Ahmed was very scared to go on a date. He didn’t have any experience of these short things. The only time he saw dinner date was in movies or dramas. He didn’t want to embarrass himself in front of Zarah. It would completely ruin his life for the rest of his life.
"Shh! You're gonna wake her up. Just shut up and go with it," Hunter climbed, slapping the back of Ahmed's head.
"Ouch! What the hell was that for?" groaned Ahmed in pain.
"Stop being a big baby," Reid mocked.
"Reid, you are asking for a punch in the face, buddy," warned Ahmed.
"You know that number of people that get-"
"Shut the hell up, Reid!" yelled everyone, not wanting to hear his lecture.
