While jogging back home, they stopped by a nice pizza spot on the way, and reconvened on Derek's bed at home. Reggie, sore all over, admitted that it'd be more comfortable adding an extra padding so Derek propped some throw pillows against the headrest, and threw a white fleece blanket over their dried legs as they were still in their damp running shorts.
Reggie settled back into the pillows, his bones making a cracking sound. He groaned. "Yeah, that feels so much better." He sighed contentedly.
Derek opened the pizza box and nestled it between them. His laptop was also set up in front of them and an episode of Euphoria was playing already. Warm, hungry with a good movie and Derek for company, Reggie couldn't ask for a better way to spend the evening.
