I bite the inside of my cheek as I watch my mate pacing the room while biting the pad of his thumb. I just got through telling my mate everything that Fenrir and Helena told me before they left.
Everyone was waiting for me when I walked through the doors. My mother grabbed me, wanting to know if I was okay. I told her that I was fine and not to worry. Thane said we needed to talk, but I asked for a few minutes alone with my mate. I needed Damian to know everything before I spoke to anyone else. It wouldn’t have been right to tell him at the same time as everyone else. My mate deserved more than that.
Damian and I came up to the room we’ve been staying in. He listened while I talked, though he said not one word.
