“River, I’d like you to meet Gamma Prince Blaze,” Thane says.
River tips her head at Blaze, but she doesn’t speak. Blaze merely smiles in my mate’s direction.
River’s hand tightens in mine. She’s scared; I can feel it. But this will all be over soon. Then, we can go home and relax for a few days. In the meantime, hopefully, Thane will come up with a plan for us to storm that fuckin.g facility.
“This is my younger sister, Starr, and her mate Alpha Kai.”
“It’s nice to meet you, River.” Starr smiles.
“You, too.” My mate whispers.
Alpha Kai doesn’t speak. He stands at the back of the room, watching his mate like a silent bodyguard. As if anyone would harm her here!
