LUCINDA’S POV Lucinda watched as Elise rushed to leave the car. “I’ll call you later ok?” Lucinda said. But Elise did not answer instead she was hurrying to be on her own. She understood. She was all alone and frankly Elise had jumped from being a teenager to being a woman overnight. Of course it made her on edge. If it were her, she would be on edge. She was going to have to get her to be with something. Because sometimes Elise did act like she was still fourteen. A blind date would be perfect. She loved stuff like this. Then just as she tried to turn on her engine, she was that her nephew and niece were no longer behind her. When had they even passed and she had not recognised it? It just have been when she stopped to check Elise’s bump. They probably were cringing that
