Chapter 3

Cade and i walk threw the hall to the stairs we start to head down the steps with him holding my hand. I can hear alot of people down stairs talking and laughing. Cade must of noticed that i was nervous cuz he stopped me on the steps “baby it will be alright. They will absolutely adore you just like i do! I wont leave your side i promise.” He tells me i smile wide at him “you adore me?” I ask him he smiles at me “if only you knew all my feelings for you then you would know i am where i want to be! Your my only reason for life. Id take on the world to keep you safe! I would take a million bullets for you. Id give my last breath if it meant you would live.” He said as tears roll down my face. “Cade i feel the same way” i mumble he kisses my forehead and hugs me tight. We stay like that for what feels like along time until we hear someone clear their throat. “Cade your father sent me to get you to love birds” a man says with a smirk “Hello luna my name is Kyle i am Cade’s bets” the man tells me who i now know as Kyle “hi Kyle my name is not luna! My name is Ashlyn or Ash for short.” I state to him as nice as possible wondering why everyone keeps calling me luna. Its frustrating!! Am i being compared to one of his ex girlfriends or someone else i wonder. “Cade why does everyone keep calling me luna? Am i being confused with one of your ex’s” i ask sadly Kyle and Cade both chuckle “Its not funny!” I shout at them as calm as i could quickly becoming annoyed “Sorry lu-Ash” kyle says to me “Babe luna is a title not an ex girlfriend its kinda like a queen but different i will explain it more in detail in the near future” Cade tells me while chuckling at me “oh” i tell him as i hide my face and look at the floor “well we really should make our way to the dining room for lunch. Everyone is waiting” Cade says as he grabs my hand and we decend the last steps making our way to the dining room to eat lunch. 

So many people talked to me some making me feel out of place. Other welcoming me with open arms! One girl who i learned is named kaylee kept giving me dirty looks and making rude comments to me. “Cade you want me to come to your office tonight like last night” kaylee said to cade “No kaylee i dont!” Cade sternly stated to her “well i see your lil w***e has you wrapped around her funger” kaylee tell Cade. 

Cade went to say something but i held a finger up “Kaylee is it? Well hunny im sorry that i have what Cade wants! Im sorry that Cade has finally taken out the trash And he no longer needs nor wants what you offer! But  i am not you so i am not a w***e!” I state as to her

Cade begins to laugh as Kaylee storms away! Ugh thank gosh she smelled like she dipped her self into a tank of perfume! It was to much! 

“Wow baby you sure can handle your self my love” Cade compliments me As he leans in to meet my lips in a quick gentle kiss we finish eating and excuse our selves “can i take you somewhere babe!” Cade asks me i grab his hand and nod he leads up out side and into the woods to a beautiful open space full of beautiful wildflowers i lay down in the middle of the flower patch looking up at the sky cade soon follows me “so beautiful” cade says “yes it is thanks for bringing me here” i tell him “i was meaning you but yes this place is also and any time babe” cade says and i blush i lay my head on cades chest as i watch into the sky 

Cade jumps up grabbing me pulling me to my feet. 

“Ash we have to get you back to the pack house now!” He says “why” i ask “we are being attacked. Your not safe out here when i shift get on my back” he says i go to respond but i am cut off by a loud growl and then Cade goes from being s human and turns into a wolf a huge wolf. The same wolf who i rode on is Cade! I am so confused and lost. Cade jumps infront of me kneeling down so i can climb on but i am soon hit by something so hard i fly about 4 feet from Cade 

I am dizzy and my body hurts i slowly try to stand only to cry out in pain. I look up and Cade is fighting 2 wolves 1 black with red eyes and a sandy grey color they are big but not as big as Cade.

Cade soon throws the sandy grey wolf into a tree and its no longer moving just laying there against the tree. I look around i see a sharp broken stick i grab it and stand up steadied my self. I walk over to Cade and the other black wolf he is fighting i stab the black wolf with the stick it howls in what I assume is a pain howl. Cade rips open the wolfs throat. It makes a sickening sound. But soon the black wolf slumps over and not moving. Cade shifts to his human form “what were you thinking Ash you could of been killed” he yells at me “i couldnt sjust watch you fight and risk you get hurt when i was capable of helping you” i yelled back with tears in my eyes “im going to shift get on my back and hold on i need to get you to the safe house” he says i nod with tears running down my face like a river he shifts and i grab the sharp stick and climb on him holding on tightly with one hand. 

He keeps running as we approach the edge of the trees i can see many wolves fighting i am watching and not looking around like i should of been 4 wolves approach us and begin to attack Cade while i am on his back i lost my grip and fell off of him and 2 wolves stalk slowly towards me like they are hunting prey i am scared i wont lie Cade lets out a growl as they get closer to me but cade is busy fighting 2 wolves his self i stand up holding the stick telling the wolves to stay away from me! “Leave me alone” i yell at the wolves one wolf that is dirty looking with dry blood on it brown in color lunges at me and i stab the stick into the wolf i must of hit something vital on him because it falls and lands on me i yell out in pain as the wolf lands on top of me sooj turning into a human form i scream as a naked man is on top of me i think dead i am to busy screaming trying to get the unconscious man off of me i dont even notice Cade and a few other men are in their human form rushing to me. The pull the mans limp body off me as Cade gently grabs me looking over my body as if he is looking if i am hurt “ow” i say as he touches my stomach i look down and see blood covering my shirt i slowly lift my shirt seeing a gash on my stomach about 4-6 inches long and it looks pretty deep. Cade scoops me into his arms running with me to the hospital “Cade i am alright! I can walk” i tell him “no i will carry you” he says 

We soon make it to the hospital he lays me on the bed. Dr ray rushes in with 2 male nurses right behind her. She lifts my shirt and gasps “what happened” she asked but before i could answer Cade is growling pulling my shirt down “no men will see my Mate half naked” he yells at the men “Cade its okay it is their job” i tell him he is not happy but i reach for him and he comes closer to me “ your going to need stitches and I will get you pain medicine so it doesnt hurt so much” dr ray tells me “just stitch it i dont want no meds” i tell her “but baby it will hurt you alot without them” Cade tells me i smile at him and shake my head no “you fought 2 wolves and your refusing pain meds damn my girl is a tough human” cade states proudly i smile “you fought 2 wolves being a human?” The one male nurse asks i not my head yes to them “ok dr stitch me up i want to go home i am tired” i tell her with a warn smile “ok this will hurt” she says as she starts to stitch me up i grab tightly onto Cades hand he rubs my cheek gently with a worried expression on his face “all done 34 stitches later” dr ray tells me i slowly sit up “come back in 2 weeks and i will remove them, keep them clean and rest!” She says “oh and no more fighting wolves till your healed” she says with a chuckle. “Cade can we go home now!” I ask him “yes baby” he says i go to stand up but Cade soon sweeps me off me feet “Cade put me down i can walk” i say he smiles at me “i knoe but i like carrying you” he tells me i smile and wrap my arms around his neck pulling my face to his neck slowly kissing it “you dont stop doing that i may end up dropping you” he chuckles as he tells me “why is that” i ask “well thats a wolfs sweet spot. It is wear i would wear your mark and you will wear mine one we complete the mating and marking bond” he states “Oh please explain more after i take a shower and a nap” i tell him we finally make it to my room and he puts me down. “Cade i am going to take a shower please stay here?” I ask him “i wont go anywhere but after your done i will use your shower” he says i walk into the bathroom and close the door thinking to my self he already seen me naked he might as well shower with me i slowly open the bathroom door “cade” i say “yes babe” he responds “do you want to just shower with me i am a lil nervous to be alone” i ask him. But he doesnt say anything back to me instead i look up to see him standing infront of me with a smile we go into the bathroom and i start the shower water while i undress Cade’s eyes roaming my entire body while licking his lips and undressing his self i step into the shower and yelp as the water hits my stitches. Cade comes rushing to me “babe are you okay” he frantically asks “yes the water just hit my stitches” i said calmly while wetting my hair i move away from the shower head and put soap in my hair and onto my was cloth and scrub my hair and start to wash my body as Cade takes the wash cloth from me washing my body for me he is careful not to hurt me but he washes me good. He taps my thigh as if asking me to open them i do and he gently washes my p***y i moan out as he turns me on “mmm babe i can smell your arousal” he states and i blush hard  “uh” was all i could say and he chuckles washing his self and then pulling me to him gently “i love the smell of you baby dont ever be embarrassed by being turned on by me” i smile and nod we soon finish showering and we step out where he wraps me in a towel and then wraps his self into a towel i walk to the bathroom door and head into my room and then to my closet to find clothes to wear i find a cute but sexy nighty its black Silky  with blue  Lace very low cut making my boobs pop out of it and i find matching lace panties and slide them on i walk into my room to see cade standing in his towel “i need to go get dressed i will see you later” he says “Cade will you come back and sleep in my bed?” I asked him “yes baby my room is next to yours let me get dressed and i will be right back” he says coming over to me kissing my head “thank you” i say as he walks out of my room
