Falling for you

Chapter 5~

Taylor's P.O.V 

the ride to school was so freaking boring. For once he didn't talk at all and it was dead silent like no radio . Nothing. As soon as i thought it could get more silent chase said "how come you don't like me". "your annoying". i blankly said. "damn ouch". he said and then got quiet again. The rest of the ride to school it was just silent. As soon as we got out the car everyone was looking at us weird.Chase gets out and walks to the other side and opens my door. I get out with my bag and just walk away and try and find my friend autumn. As soon as i see her i walk over to her. We start talking and then the next thing you know the bell rings and we have to go to our separate class. 

About 2 classes later its language arts started. Oh great. I walk in and go to my seat and of course he's sitting there on his phone probably tryna get with some girl. I sit down and he looks me up and down. I rolled my eyes and and we started taking out work because the teacher came in. We were writing in our journals when the loud speaker came on and it said "ladies and gentleman homecoming is around make sure you pay for your tickets and make sure you find that special someone to take tickets are selling all up until next week thank you have a nice rest of your day". then it went off. I looked back down at my journal and started writing again. chase tapped me on the shoulder and said 'you going to homecoming with anyone" and had a light smirk on his face. "uh no why". i said looking at him a little weird. this kid for real seems like he wouldn't be that type of guy to be going to homecoming and stuff  it just seemed a little off. "oh just wondering" he said and turning back at his work then a couple minutes later he taps my shoulder again and i look up and he says " by the way sorry for being an asshole the other day i didn't mean to get your phone taken away the other day". He being nice, giving me rides, and asking if i'm going to a dance with anyone. Alright i've known this kid for like 2 days and i dont know its just a weird vibe im getting. "um its ok". I said and went back to my work. it stayed silent for the rest of the class period and soon as i knew it the bell rang and it was time for our next period.
