My eyes fluttered open as I finally regained consciousness. My head buzzed with what felt like waves of electricity as I tried to regain my senses.
Unfamiliar eyes looked from above me—assessing and studying as the seconds ticked by.
“What the hell?” I mumbled as I tried to sit up but was hit by a wave of dizziness.
