RAYA'S POV :
I look between mum and Papa, confused as fhuk. What does she mean.....I see the way Mum and Papa just glanced at each other..
For someone who finishes top of the grade I'm awfully slow at piecing it all together, I could feel my heart start to race getting faster, Archie tightens his arms around me protectively. Pulling me closer to him. I swear you could see the cogs turning in my head.
I look at Papa. Feeling feel that heat and pressure inside me rising again. Archie and Maximus dropping their heads again.
"Tell me." I demand from Papa.
Even though Archie's head is bowed he slowly rubs my back and and it relaxes me, in turn relieving the pressure.
My eyes haven't left Papa, he looks into my eyes and tells me what I have always longed to hear,
"Raya, you are my darling, beloved daughter".
The pressure didn't even build up this time!
My eyes went white and the silver star in my eyes glowed and there was a massive flash of light!
It felt like it exploded in my freaking head!
The whole room! It is frozen still!
My heart feels like it's stopped.
Time has literally stood still!
"Raya", I hear Mum's voice! I turn to her,
Oh thank goodness I didn't freeze her too!!
Papa, Archie, Maximus all frozen still.
I ran to the window, oh no! No, no, no!!
The whole club is like a video on pause! On the dance floor everybody stopped as if playing statues! I look to the bar where Es and Marcus are sitting, it's like a photo moment, he's laughing and looking at Es who has her hand on his arm with her head thrown back in laughter. Lukey behind the bar mid pour of liquid into a glass.
I start to panic...did I do this??! I did do this! What is wrong with me?!
"Raya, honey?!" mum calls to me again and I feel her arms start to wrap around me.
"Did I do this mum?!! Is there something wrong with me?!" she turns me to look at her, and she's laughing.
"I always knew you were powerful my darling girl but my Goddess. It took me 6 months of training daily, to freeze just one room", she glances out the window and waves to the frozen club, " a year to manage something like that", she smiled at me proudly. Like it was an every day occurrence. For her as a witch maybe, but not this she-wolf...unless...I glance up at her,
"Does this means I'm a wolf and a witch??"
"Sort of yes, but you are much, much more my sweet heart!"
"She's not wrong about any of it, Raya. We're extremely special." Pandia says calmly.
Ok. Deep breaths Raya! Wooo-saaahh!
"OK, can we discuss that soon? But first. How do I fix all this??!!" I ask as I wave both my arms to the room and downstairs of the club, my eyes tearing up. "What if I hurt someone?!"
"Ok Darling, every one is perfectly fine.Take a deep breath. Close your eyes. And picture this room how it was".
I did what she said, closed my eyes, took a deep breath and could hear my heart beating slowly, good, it didn't stop, that's a plus!
I pictured everything in the room to how it was before that pressure in my head, I heard mum, "That's good darling, keep going", I heard everyone in the room take a breath, opened my eyes, and everyone in the room was looking at me. Stunned. Join the freaking club muchachos!!!
Mum, the sicko, is smiling! How can she be so complacent?!
Oh s**t Archie! Is he going to hate me now??! I slowly look towards him and all I see is love and adoration in his eyes as he smiles at me. I can feel it through the Mate bond. He's proud of me! All I can think is- you gorgeous weirdo!
I look towards Papa, I guess I can call him that for real now.
He opens up his arms wide and I run into them. All my life I wished he could have been my dad instead. And all this time he was.
"Raya," he says to me. I look up at him and he's smiling down at me with big proud green, huh, almost same colour as my green, eyes. s**t! How did I not see it before??!! I have the same straight hair and colour too!!
Dad, I mean Ben, has blonde hair and brown eyes. So I never looked anything like him or mums dark hair and purple eyes, but I never but two and two together.
"I'm so very proud of you my darling girl, but could you please unfreeze my club?" he asks chuckling while watch me.
Mum and Papa both laughing about this. Pair of sickos!! At least they're not mad. I could understand mad. But laughing? Absolute trippers!
I nod my head at his request and walk to the window. I rest my forehead against the glass and I can feel Archie behind me.
As I turn to look at him and he smiles down at me with a massive goofy smile and says to me, "just when I think you couldn't be anymore amazing or perfect, you amaze me again and again. I'm so lucky to have you as my mate", he pulls me to him and I just fall into his chest.
Being in his arms is amazing. I could stay like this forever.
I suddenly scent him! Cocoa and cookies! Mmm, he smells like home, "Yummmm, they smell so gooood", says Pandia, I'm grinning at her comment as I burying my nose into his chest, inhaling deeply while he laughs and I can hear my parents, still, so weird, chuckling behind him.
"Ok, just like before Mum?" I ask and she nods smiling.
I turn to face out the window again and put my hands and forehead to the glass.
I close my eyes and take a deep breath, in and out, another in and out, my heart beat slowing again, and I picture the club downstairs as it was, before I went all flash-freeze on everyone's arses. I felt the glass going super cold, then suddenly the DJ's music was vibrating through it and the club again. I could hear the muffled voices and laughing through the glass, looking down I see everyone shaking their arses on the dancefloor, I look to Estelle and Marcus, now sucking face. Ew! Lukey has finished pouring the drink and now trying to get some drunk bimbo down from dancing on the bar...
Something pulls my gaze and I look towards the entrance and an older looking guy walks in. Tall and white hair, he looks around, there's something other wordly about him, I hear Mum and Papa calling me but I can't look away from him. I can almost feel like he's looking for me.
His eyes slowly move across the room and make their way up to me.
He staring. He's staring with purple eyes like mum has!
"Mum?!" I call her, she walks over next to me and follows my line of sight to the old dude.
"f**k!" she swears under her breath, woo mum swore!! She barely ever swears!! "Raymond", she calls Papa, who walks over and stands on the other side of me,
"s**t!" he says, well if we're all swearing now!
The old guys takes his gaze off of me and looks to Mum, then Papa, back to me again. And he smiles at me.
"Hello Raya, I've been waiting for you to show yourself", I hear an old makes voice in my head. I know it's him.
Mum looks to me as I grab her arm, "his voice is in my head!" I say to her.
"How is that possible?!" she asks shaking her head and looking to Papa.
Archie looking worried comes up behind me looking down at the old man.
"Draco?! What the f**k is he doing here? He's meant to be dead!" he starts fuming...
Mum sighs, "He's Raya's grandfather",
We all look to Mum stunned.
"Who the duck is Draco?!"
Before she has a chance to reply....
