9. Hello Mate

RAYA'S POV :
As soon as Archie bit into my arse and I saw his eyes swirl from ice blue to gold I knew I couldn't be the only one like me!
Not only that! Pandia my wolf came forward and acknowledged Archie's wolf and smiling at him!!
"Pandia what is going on?!" I asked her, my smile dropping as I see Papa's three head body guards come toward Archie and I. Maximus was one of them so it must be serious.
"Mate!! They are our Mate, Raya!" she replied excitedly.
"OK, but what does that mean?!" I'm so freaking confused right now!
"It means we've found the other halves of us Raya. Our Souls Mate. I told you big things would be happening soon. I thought our Mate would be further down the track but, Hot Dayum, I am Not disappointed to have him right now!!" she panted looking into Archie's eyes. Alright hussy keep your pants on! I got a "shush! " from her and giggled.
I felt Archie tense up under me and dig in a bit deeper with his fingers and teeth as he saw the body guards come closer.
Looking at him I called him, "Archie," his eyes flashed between that beautiful icy blue and gold,"put me down now, please".
He blinked a couple of times and his eyes returned to blue. His fingers and teeth withdrew and he gently placed me on my feet as Maximus, Andrew and Miles reached us. We looked at them and they pointed up towards Papa's office.
Uh Oh, time to face the music...
I looked up at Archie, but he wouldn't look at me. Frowning at him all I felt was worry, is he OK? Does he not like me?
"It's OK Raya. He's just upset his wolf got handsy and in Papa's club too, Papa will help you understand babes".
I trust Pandia. She's never been wrong.
I thought I was losing my bloody mind when she turned up in my head on my 16th birthday! She said we have to stay secret til my 21st birthday. An unbelievably hard task to keep from my mum and Papa for so long! Dad and I don't speak, so it made no difference with him. She said she's covered our scent so no one can find us til we want them to.
On my 18th birthday we shifted for the first time. It hurt like a freaking mofo! Most painful experience. Ever. It got easier after then, like Pandia said it would, we just had to be careful whenever we shifted.
She hated me being with Jude and said it didn't feel right. As soon as Archie picked me up and spun me around moments ago I felt her happiness like she was about to explode. Guess it must be that Mate thing...
We make it to Papa's office. I look back down to the dancefloor and Es and Marcus are watching us and I give her a thumbs up. She grins at me returning the thumbs-up and gestures to Marcus for them to go to the bar.
We walk into the office after getting up those damn steps again. Definitely should have put my fitbit on! Swear I've just done double my daily quota! I'm calling it! Tomorrow is rest day!
Archie and I sit next to each other on the double lounge in the office while Papa and Maximus stand nearby, Papa hasn't taken his eyes off me and looking at me differently.
He then looks to Archie, "Archie", he says, but Archie can't look at him. I watch Archie and feel disappointment, but I'm not, what is going on?
Pandia pops up ,"Mates can feel what the other is feeling babes, it is how Archie is feeling". Oh OK.
Papa says,"Archie, you've done nothing wrong, but we need to tell Raya what has just happened, and why".
So Papa knows. He knows what I am. What Archie is. I'm starting to get confused and it's making me frustrated.
"Tell me what?!" I ask. How long has he known? I look between Papa, Archie and Maximus. I feel like my body is getting warmer and a pressure is pushing in my head.
"Hello?!" I ask with force. I saw Maximus and Archie drop their heads when I spoke and Papa was frowning. Not angry.
I felt him.
He was confused too. How can I feel him too? Is he a mate too Pandia?
She laughs in my head, "No my sweets. He's a big part of us though, just wait. You will soon see."
I feel Archie shift next to me as he turns towards me, I'm looking into his gorgeous blue eyes he takes a breath and his eyes
change in a flash to those gorgeous golden orbs again and Pan yelps,"Mate! " my goodness they're gorgeous. I feel a warm sensation spread through my chest, what is it now?!!
"Archie can feel you accepting him and what you're feeling is how you're making him feel", nawww, hold on sidetracked again Raya!
A deeper, sultry, slightly gruffer voice comes out of Archie's mouth as I continue to look into his eyes, " We're werewolves, including you, and you are my heart. My everything. I live for you and I will die for you. My Mate. Hello Mate". a soft smile graced his lips.
I could feel Pan coming to show herself through me too, I look to Papa and Maximus and they're both nodding in confirmation at what Archie has just said.
As I look back to Archie I could feel my voice changing and felt my eyes see everything so much clearer.
Archie's golden eyes widen as I look into his eyes, I know Pan is doing that swirly eyes thing again, I've seen her do it a few times and I'm enjoying the look on Archie's handsome face, I'm smiling gently at him I hear Pan purr from my throat sweetly,
"Hello Mate".
My heart suddenly felt so full like it was spilling over with happiness and warmth...I'm thinking I'm beginning to like this Mate bond thing!
Archie reached over to me and gently took my hand and it felt like I'd been zapped! Where our skin touched it was constant tingles.
When both looked at out hands and looked back up at each other smiling. Oh Lordy I'm in trouble.
Scratch that "like" business.
I'm beginning to love this Mate bond thing!
