Chapter 4Jesse rubbed his eyes. He’d been reading for hours, and now he felt the beginnings of a headache. Time to quit. Time to get your eyes checked. The material he’d been reading on the First World War had been so fascinating, he’d not wanted to stop. But his head hurt and he had to urinate. When he had done his business and washed his hands, he took two Tylenol. What time was it? He looked at his watch. The afternoon was gone. He could have his daily glass of wine. Just one because there were lots of calories in wine. Yeah, but you don’t have to keep yourself that thin any more, Jesse. Why not live a little? A second glass of chardonnay won’t hurt.
