I have never felt so seen, so naked in my whole life. As I walk out of my room, dressed in a burgundy halter top barely covering my belly and breasts, and a skirt barely covering my buttocks over a pair of black louboutins, I know I am not made for this life.
I can barely even walk in these heels but thanks to the lady who had taken her time to do a good job on my face and everything else, she helps me down the steps.
I am not discrediting the great job she did or saying that I am dressed indecently. Hell, I see these types of dresses on other women and I am awed by it. But for me, I have never been used to it.
