On this day, my only wish is for the ground to split open and swallow me and if that doesn't work, maybe being totally erased from existence or from everyone's mind works really better.
But neither of that happens as I remain on the floor, my right foot twisted at an awkward angle. Intense embarrassment washes over me and I can literally feel my face redden in embarrassment.
Silence has fallen everywhere in the room and a whole lot of people are looking in my direction. I don't really care because no one here knows who I am. Even if a flash goes off, I'd just be a random lady posted on the internet to cause a few laughs and remain forgotten.
A few phones are raised in my direction, flashes either going off as pictures are taken or remaining stable as people make videos of me.
