Chapter two

Jay's POV

Now that I have leaned closer to them I can now tell who my mate is and it's Sandy and she looks so perfect to me. 'our mate is so beautiful' Jace said his joy reverberating in my mind 'I know I can't wait to have her in our arms' I replied back to him as I had been searching for one of my mates ever since my 18th birthday and now i have finally met one of them and she is absolutely perfect.

I continued talking to them for the rest of the class before I joined them to get lunch with them so i could get to know Sandy better. Or to figure out what kind of food she likes to eat like pizza or a sandwich.

I know it seems creepy that i'm watching her eat though to be fair its only so I have a rough idea of where to take her on a date if I ever get the chance to do that. Which I really wish to happen as from the short time that I have spent with her I can say that I already love her even though I had only just met her, but that's often the of the mate bond.

Sandy's POV

I'm finding it a bit weird that Jay the new guy is watching me eat. I don't know what to do or say but i do know that he is very sexy "thanks" chuckles Jay his mouth twisting up into a good-natured smirk. "ooooooops did I say that out loud" I whispered feeling heat burn right up to my ears in embarrassment. "yeah you did" affirmed Jay and Jenna at the same time and all I can do is blush harder as Jenna bursts out laughing and Jay smiles at me knowingly.

Jay leans towards me and whispers softly in my ear " I think you are sexy too" and i cant help but blush even harder as his words affect me more than anyone that I've ever come across. "Oh thanks", I said blushing even more, wishing that I was anywhere else but at the same time wanting to stay right where I am sat. Jay leans forward again and says " I take it that you don't get many compliments" All I can do is shake my head no has I'm chocked up. "Well then I will have to give you more compliments so get used to it Sandy" husked Jay before he cleared his throat when Jenna raised her eyebrows at him questioningly.

Suddenly the bell rang for class to start  so myself and the others went off to class Jenna's to hers which was history and me an Jay to gym for basketball practice as it was for both the boys and girls teams.

After practice I got changed ans met up with Jenna for our next class which was the second to last class of the day. The class was so boring that it's not worth talking about only that it dragged like a monkey dragging their ass across the floor while scratching their head
