Are You Not Human?

1112 Words
Together with her sister, Alpha was playing football. They were competing on dribbling. The one who dribbled past each other scored a point. Alpha dribbling speed was fabulous. He out competed his sister. Lacey wondered why he had not joined a football club, so as to prove his greatness instead of engaging in fights. Fights which led to his exclusion from the school. As they were playing Alpha saw a bright streak of light hitting the ground. He thought it was a meteorite falling. He wanted her sister to see the meteorite. Her sister turned to see it. She told Alpha that meteorites don't last long on the ground. They sink immediately forming a huge hole called a Crater. Magically, the so called meteorite turned into a person, not just a person but someone who visited them before. Lacey wondered why he had come back. She remembered seeing him just days after Alpha's birthday. Alpha, though a baby he was, he had a memory of the person. He felt something uncommon. His Alpha muscles had began to activate, once he laid an eye on him. He knew this was not a good man. "Who are you?" Alpha asked. "Can't you remember me? You weaklings. Mortals who are just trying to compete with immortals. Do you think you can rise above immortals and rule this cluster of universes? Especially this young lady who always thinks of ruling us. Mortal girl you have no place in the verse. Your story just ends here in the soil. You will soon be forgotten, after you die. Oh poor little girl with great dreams. How did I know you thought of that? I have this Shield, a Shield that shows me everything in the universe." On hearing of the Shield, Lacey knew that this was not Prakash. She began to figure out who he was. She started imagining of his origin. Lila wondered why her children had overstayed in the fields. They never played for a long time. Maybe the game was just enjoyable. Then she remembered her husbands words. You should keep a close eye on the children's movement. They should not be trouble to the city. She left to do her role. A role that was a hardest a parent could ever have. To monitor closely each movement of his children. When she got to the place she could not believe her eyes. She saw Prakash. She wondered why he had come back even after being almost killed by Mr Singh, were it not for Lacey. "Gemini, show the mortals your true self. Gemini I order you. If you don't I will ask my brother to destroy you. And the sun is almost setting. Father will be home soon. You will meet your death here. On this place and the mortals will slay you. They will take away..." Gemini had began to escape. He did not wait for Lacey to finish speaking. He began turning into a meteorite. It was not as Lacey ordered. Alpha could not let him go. He moved faster than his on radiation. He caught him just before he completely changed into a meteorite like object. He began burning him using his Alpha rays. His rage grew as he struggled with Gemini who had refused to take his original form. The Alpha Crystals in his Alpha ray muscles began to shine. Gemini quickly turned to his original form. As Gemini was what he was. He began mocking them again, "You mortal girl do you think discovering my identity makes you superior? Or does it mean you are immortal? Never ever will you rule us. This cluster of universes is the greatest in all of the clusters. The mortals have no place on this planet." The words did not hurt Lacey, she continued looking at the setting sun. She did not bother anything that was being said. Alpha's anger grew wilder. He wanted to attack this man the second time. He wanted to destroy him, once and for all. This was the true Alpha. "You look down upon mortal beings of the universe, Gemini. But we are not too weak as you think. One day this common human will rule us. Or that common being will rise. Gemini could you possibly..." Alpha had already started to attack him. Lila caught him. She had to stop him before he could kill someone. She never wanted her son to become a slayer of humanity. She wanted him to be a gentleman. Alpha was so strong he began overpowering her. The medallion on his neck shone that it almost made her blind. But she caught him firmly until his anger grew down. Gemini never rewarded good deeds. He wanted the last honor of the mortals. To bow for him. He has turned himself into a god. He wanted everyone to worship him. He ordered them to bow or he could destroy the whole planet. For her love for life on the planet, Lila began to kneel but someone stopped her. Alpha could not allow her to bow for someone. He knew that never was he to bow down to anyone no matter what, he was to bow for the divines and not selfish beings like Gemini. He told Lacey to call their Grandpa. He could not fight the war by himself. He needed a backup. In minutes Joel was there already. Gemini saw the chain he was wearing. He noticed that it belonged to the Grand Captain. The leader of the Captains squad. The ones who were born to protect this cluster. The Grand Captain is the champion of all, and the Guardian of the Universal Basement. He could not wait to be killed. It dawned yo him that he has been humiliating mortals but this time he stepped on the wrong ones. The descendants of an Eternal being. He never saw any object related to immortality embedded in them. This confused him do much on existence. How could mortals be so powerful like that? Were they real mortals? What had astonished him so much was how did a common be able to know of his identity. He could not believe himself. He tried to scan her but he saw nothing in her. No crystal or an inborn powerhouse. Seeing this he disappeared. Lila was so happy with her son. At last he could control his anger. At last she could think like a normal human being and not an insane. She promised to return him back to school. Lacey was also happy with him. They walked towards the house as their father asked them what was wrong. A stupid stranger, the answer it was.
