Always and Forever

2 months later "Let me see you," Arthmael let out a low growl that set Evelyn's insides on fire. Holding on one of her hips, he let a small kiss on her c**t, the movements of his fingers inside her core stopping, making her almost cry out in frustration. He was such a tease sometimes. "Eyes on me, I wanna see you as you come." Her whole body shook, but she did as she was told. The truth was she loved it when Arthmael became dominating, she just found it too hard to keep looking at him. Too hard and almost too much, as if he could see the depths of her soul and understand how much Evelyn actually wanted him. There wasn't a time when she hadn't wanted him, she had wanted him since the very first time her eyes had laid on him, but now, after they had spent two full amazing months together, sneaking around and spending the hours until sunrise together, she didn't only want him. She needed him; so much, sometimes it was terrifying. The sudden mind blowing orgasm brought her out of her deep thoughts as she gripped the sheets of the old small bed until her knuckles turned write. "Oh dear God―" But she didn't get to finish that sentence, feeling him penetrating her so so hard and so suddenly, and she was no ready for it. No ready at all, the scream got caught on her throat, her mouth and eyes opened wide as she looked at his satisfied grin. "Let it out, my love, no one's going to hear you here but me," he whispered on her ear. Evelyn had been so used to them making love on his room, or hers, where everybody could hear them late at night when the castle was completely dead silent, that she'd usually bit on his shoulder or on her lip until she almost got the taste of her own blood, that now that they were in his old childhood home, she forgot she didn't need to hold back any longer. Not that she could when Arthmael pulled out and gave another hard thrust.  Her crying out was so sudden and needy, it urged him to keep the same fast pace, the sound of flesh hitting flesh so loud, it got all mixed up with their groans of hunger. "Arthmael," she pleaded, not knowing for what, while her nails dug on his back more, most probably leaving bruises there. "Evelyn," he whispered into her ear. "Evelyn. Evelyn. Evelyn." "My love..." Arthmael smiled on her lips. "My love."  Showering her with kisses everywhere he could think of, his movements growing more unstable, Evelyn thought he was finally going to let them both reach their much needed point of ecstasy. Which did happen, but it seemed he was far from giving up tonight. Holding her bodily, he placed her on the table. Then on the old rug, and against the wall, and then again on the bed until Evelyn's body was so limp, she thought she wouldn't be able to walk for the next couple of days. Except she had to walk, want it or not. None of them talked about it, but the truth was none of them wanted this night to end. As if if they kept staying at each other's embraces, the sun would never rise. Whoever had said that the sun was the prime source of life, hadn't met their soulmate yet. Evelyn fell on his hard stone chest, refusing to open her eyes for the next couple of minutes as Arthmael held her tight, stroking her long hair that were all over the place, softly, their naked body tangled perfectly. "I love you. You know that, right?" Arthmael told her softly. "And I won't let him hurt you... ever." A small smile rose up to her lips. "I know, Arthmael. But you don't have to worry, it's only a couple of days and you're coming with us, anyways." Her voice however, it didn't come out as sure as she wanted. Arthmael being there as she and Robert went to meet up the other kings and queens and hopefully for Robert, create the Council of Peace, sure it was a big relief when it came to her safety, but how was she going to pretend she and her husband were actually a real couple in front of her mate? How was she going to make it without going insane and making Arthmael go insane too? He didn't let it show in his face, but Evelyn knew it was eating him inside. And could she blame him for it? He knew she was in love with him, but maybe this wasn't enough sometimes. Sometimes being when she had to act as a devoted wife in front of the others. Maybe if her husband was another man, it would be easier for Arthmael. But it was Alpha Robert. And no matter what had happened, he was still Alpha Robert. "I love you." "I love you too, but can you not say it as if something bad will happen?" She asked. "Please." "Nothing will happen, I just want you to know it, always." He moved the hair from her face, kissing her lips tenderly. "Always and forever." Her deep blue eyes shone with all the amount of love she held for him. "Always and forever." Searching on the pocket of his jacket that was on the floor next to him, he pulled out something Evelyn didn't see at first. "Remember the first day we were here, made love on that daisies field and..." "...And we got attacked? Yeah, I do, I would never forget it," she finished it for him. "I came here and left you alone there..." he trailed off. "Of course I regret it, but it was to give you this." Evelyn gasped, looking at the most beautiful ring with the most beautiful, precious blue sapphire gemstone she had ever seen. "W-what is this?" She stuttered. "A ring?" He chuckled, amused at her reaction. "My mother's ring, to be more precise. Don't you like it?" She gazed up at him and then at the ring again as if she couldn't believe her own eyes. "It's magnificent..." "You're magnificent." He leaned to give her another kiss, but she stopped this. "But I can't accept it, it's your mother's. I- I don't deserve it." "Of course you deserve it, besides, it's been tradition on my family for generations," he explained, all the while watching as her eyes widened in surprise. "My grandmother was supposed to give it her son so he could give it to his mate, but since my mother was an only child, it got passed to her. And if she was alive she'd give it to me so I could propose to you..." he stopped, realizing what he was actually saying. Of course, there would be no proposal. She looked down at her circular golden ring on her ring finger, and her heart ached. The blue sapphire stoned ring was supposed to be there instead, nonetheless, it couldn't. "I just can't..." "You can." Taking her right hand in his, he put the ring on the forth finger. It wasn't exactly her ring finger, but it still fit like it was made precisely for her. And he grinned widely. "It suits with your eye color perfectly. And she'd love it on you." Evelyn shook her head. "No she wouldn't. She'd tell me to reject you and give you a chance at real happiness with a second chance mate or... or a chosen, or I don't know, a chance to be with someone on the open at least and not risk your life everyday―" "How many times will we go through this, Evelyn?" Arthmael wanted to sound angry, but actually he didn't. "This is my choice to make, and I'm choosing you." She sighed. "What about that day? What if those wolves weren't just rogues and someone had sent them to kill us? You?" "They were just rogues." He ran his hand through his hair in frustration. "Rogues who knew I didn't have my powers," Evelyn insisted. "It felt like they wanted you, like they knew the way to get you was through me, like they knew you'd do everything for me." Cupping his face, she got him to look at her. "Come on, Arthmael, don't try to deny it. You've been in countless of wars, you can see through your enemy, I'm sure of it. Maybe they knew, or maybe they saw us together..." "And they're all dead, I killed them all." He did have a point in this. "Alright but what if they had a leader who ordered them, anyone who could... I don't know, want you dead? Or exposed." Arthmael inhaled deeply, knowing she had caught up onto everything he had been thinking the past few months. It was too much of a coincidence for all those rogues to be there at that moment, and besides, what did they want? They had howled for him to listen, for him to know they were right there in front of his mate. He was sure of it. "You're thinking too much into this," he reassured her, getting both her hands on his and kissing them; knowing it would calm her down. His kisses always calmed her down. "Maybe you're right." Evelyn didn't really believe this. But she wanted to, so much. "How many time until sunrise?" She was almost scared to hear the answer. "Two hours," he whispered. Evelyn closed her eyes, resting her head on his naked chest. "Two hours until I get ready to help my husband have my father's seat on The Council and slowly take over the world."
