The search for the Morningstar was kept relatively hidden for several weeks. King Nazar's instruction to his wardens was upheld diligently, and as they passed the instruction to their men to look for the sword, they did so discreetly, making sure that only those they could trust were allowed to know that the sword was even missing in the first place.
They started by gathering all the swords within their respective castles, and with the help of their druids, tried to identify if any of them was secretly the missing sword.
As Master Alectus explained, the sword would possess such powerful magic that it would be impossible to hide from any trained eye. Of course some swords were imbibed with magic of their own, but none of them could rival the Morningstar.
