*** “Hector, what do you think you’re doing?” “What I should have done a long time ago.” Adaria stepped between Hector and Nero quickly, with the latter staring down at him in the coldest manner she had ever seen. “And who might you be?” he asked. Hector chuckled, and the smile which settled on his face was cynical, to say the least. It was a horrific expression, and it didn’t take a genius to realize that it spelled doom for Adaria and Nero. “I’m the man who’s going to make your life a living hell,” he said to Nero. His gaze shifted to Adaria then, and his smirk grew wider. “Did you really think you would get away with this?” he asked. “Fraternizing with the enemy right in our midst? You’re supposed to watch out for creatures like him. You are supposed to look out for your own.”
