Later that day, the girls decided to have a picnic in the garden. Adaria was happy to have some fresh air after the long hours of training with Master Carrow.
“So how did it go? Did he teach you some powerful spells that can burn a kingdom to the ground?” Regina asked with a smirk as Adaria joined them.
“Or maybe he taught her how to slay a dragon using nothing but her bare fingers,” Liana said, carefully avoiding her gaze.
Adaria laughed as she sat between them, tucking her feet underneath her. “Laugh all you want,” she said. “When he does teach me all those things, then you’ll be sorry that you ever mocked me.”
“So what did he teach you about?” Regina asked.
Eager to show off, Adaria grabbed an apple from the basket and set it down in front of them. “Watch this,” she said.
