We're leaving...
The look of shock was plastered against her face, as her jaw dropped.
What on earth?
Vicky staggered a little as she approached her chair and hesitantly sat on it
Her mind were racing, running here and there, looking for the answers to the questions hidden in her heart.
Is this an illusion? He's actually the CEO have been dying to meet with almost all my life?
Deep down, she truly admire the CEO but she never knew him much.
He was the anonymous CEO of the Greenland hotels. The chain of hotels owned by this CEO had even expanded to her country side, New York.
Now she understood why the manager was so scared of him that she was even chased out of the room she had booked for herself.
"What are you doing here?" Alex finally spoke after a long while of an uncomfortable silence.
Alex too, was stupefied to see this woman here.
He had begged destiny to not let him cross path with her again, because he was very angry.
And now, here she is. "I'm the CEO of the company you want to sign with" he heard her say.
"If so, Felix, we're leaving " Alex stated as he got up to leave.
Vicky was surprised by his words but she didn't stop him and just let him leave.
He walked out of the door, after stealing one last glance on her, anger evident on his perfect face.
He still felt embarrassed by her, he never want to have anything to do with her. No one has ever dared to treat him anyhow but she did and he couldn't do any f*ckin thing about it.
So the best thing to do was to just end things even before they started.
"Vicky, why did you let him leave? You could have used the opportunity to fulfill your wish" Alicia, her assistant, told her, almost as if she was scolding Vicky.
" I know, but what's the use anyway. Even if I want to, he won't still let me. You saw that he didn't even let me finish and just left" Vicky answered her.
" Well, does that mean the contract has ended?" Alicia twisted her brows
" What else would that mean? You saw how he behaved, do you think he would still keep the contract in mind? "
" But what happened? " Alicia asked, confused about what Vicky was saying.
She didn't know about what had transpired between her boss and Alex.
" You booked a room in this hotel right? " Vicky asked.
" Yes, I did, so? " Alicia asked confused.
" Did the receptionist mentioned anything like, the room being booked?" Vicky continued to question Alicia.
" No. She didn't say anything at all. But she was looking quite tired even though she was smiling" Alicia could only answer, as she looked at the window side, trying to recall the face of the receptionist.
"That CEO, also booked the same room with me but he did it before me and you said she was looking tired right? So I guess, she forgot about it and gave you the same key" Vicky started explaining.
"I had prepared a meal for myself and decided to take a shower, but coming out, I saw that CEO in the room, eating my food" Vicky explained, surprising Alicia.
" What? " Alicia's eyes widened in surprise.
" Yes, and I was too angry and careless so I made a scene and he got angry and that's why he's mad. I think I went too far in judging him" Vicky felt sorry.
"So what will you do?" Alicia asked.
"I will apologize to him, whether he forgives me or not, I won't be angry about it. As long as I apologize to him" Vicky replied.
Alicia escorted Vicky to her car. She didn't want to stay in the hotel anymore.
"This Hotel also belong to Alex" she realized that as she looked over at the top of the building that had the name of the hotel; " Greenland hotels "
She got into her car. And started the engine, while Alicia waited behind to finish some things.
" Take care, and call me when you get home " Alicia told her.
"Mmn"
Vicky started to drive as her mind travelled back to what made her like the CEO of Greenland hotel.

She was just 13 years old when she desired to become a businesswoman like him.
Her sister was ill, then she had nothing.
She and her sisters were both poor orphans then, homeless and abandoned,
Then a mysterious Man helped her sister with her hospital bill and also gave them shelter in the orphanage home.
Because of him her sister is still alive, though they're not together.
But the CEO never showed his face to her, she didn't even know him.
All she know was that, he was the CEO of Greenland hotels and ever since, she only wanted to be a businesswoman and help people in need too.
But she didn't know the kind of business she wanted to build.
Her sister was adopted and when she thought she would never be adopted, Maria, her adoptive mother came into her life.
Maria had always been nice and sweet to Vicky.
Vicky admire her, second.
When she was sixteen, her mom had a skin reaction which hurt her so dearly.
She couldn't loose her mom, she was scared.
One afternoon, she went into her school's laboratory.
They were having a presentation and she really wanted to practice.
She had taken own blood samples for this usual experiment she didn't know why she was doing.
All she knew was that she loved experimenting and so she wanted to do something useful this time.
She thought, she would find a solution to her mom's problem and for some of her classmates with the same skin issues from one of her experiment and this felt quite strange but the goodness inside her was very impelling.
She added her chemicals and did her things.
It wasn't easy, she kept failing and failing and failing but one very day, she got what she wanted.
She found a cure.
Her mom hated medicine so she decided to follow another method which would be suitable for her mom.
Realizing her mom was a lotion-freak, she tried using lotions and creams instead.
That was when she made the decision to become a cosmetic businesswoman.
In any way, she ended up fulfilling both wishes- being the businesswoman she desired and a cosmetologist to help those in need.

She got to her house, her mother was already waiting for her, worried sick.
"What happened mom?" Vicky asked as she got home.
" I am getting you married" Vicky heard her say
