Chapter 5

Third Person POV

Priya came late that night and everyone had already retired to their rooms today everyone stayed in one Virats house as his mom asked them to stay Priya also retired to her room but what she didn't know was that someone was waiting for her to see that she is safe and that someone was Virat as he saw her entering her room he too slept peacefully but it was short lived as he and everyone was woken up by someone's screams and that someone was Priya everyone reached her room worriedly only to see a heart breaking scene where Priya was clutching her bedsheet tightly while screaming when her dad was going near her she abruptly sat up and started searching for something.

Everyone was watching her but no one had the heart to question her about anything but Virat took a step towards her and stopped her movements and shakes her asking what happened.

"Something is wrong with super bhaiya something bad has happened I have to call him he may need me", she said still searching for her phone.

"Who is super bhaiya tell me I will keep him safe", Virat questioned her wanting to know about her super bhaiya she was going to answer him but was interrupted by a phone call she picked it up immediately and what she heard next made her rush she told Virat to take her to the hospital while others cant help and follow them when they reached Priya rushed inside without any care.

She was told by the doctor that the accident was pretty bad his wife died just after delivering the baby boy right now and her super bhaiya is taking his last breaths wants to talks to her.

Everyone was standing outside the room waiting for Priya to come out when she came out she looked broken but no one said anything Virat made her sit on bench and sat beside but she got out of her trance when the nurse asked her the name of the child what to do with the child so said the first thing that came to her mind.

"Nurse he is mine I will raise him as my own write my name on his birth certificate and his name will be Aditya and leave his fathers place empty he will never know who was his real parents because that is his fathers last wish", the nurse nodded and left everyone was shocked but kept quite cause they knew that its not the right time and when her mother was going to say something her father stopped her.

Its been two weeks their funeral was held in their house itself and Priyas parents was getting worried for her daughters future because the last two weeks she was just taking care of Adi everyone was sitting in the living room when Priya exited her room and was going towards the kitchen to gat milk for Adi but her mother decided that its enough and said something which made Priya say things that no one ever thought she would say.

"Priya you cant raise him he is not yours just give him to an orphanage where a family can adopt him", she said calmly.

"No I wont give him he is my son now I will raise him", Priya replied immediately this made her mom mad.

"Priya don't be a fool he is not yours and you are not even married people will talk about your character and I cant bear it", her mother said while her voice starts breaking.

"I can bear it mom and I will if you want me to get married then fine find a groom who can accept me along Adi as my son I can even marry an old man if it gives you satisfaction", Priya said this making everyone shocked when she was about to leave her mother slapped her again and shouted at her.

"Priya have you gone insane what are you talking about you are going to destroy your life for people who are not your family", and hearing this Priya gave out a humorless chuckle where everyone was looking at her with the same worried expression.

"They are not family you know what they have been my family more then you all you were not there when I needed you the most he was there for me my super bhaiya", her mother was going to interrupt her but Priya held her hand up and silenced her and continued.

"Do you think that what Virat, Raj, Laksh , and Dinesh did with me was the only thing then you are wrong", this left everyone shocked that she knew that everyone knew.

"You all are shocked I am not an ACP after doing nothing when I first entered the house I knew that you all know what has happened but I didn't say anything Mom have you ever thought why I never came back on Diwali four years back no you were just disappointed I never came back because of you because you made that psych cousin of yours to keep an eye on me because you didn't trusted your daughter and the values you gave me and that made my life hell for a month he would torture me in different ways because you decided to not trust me", everyone was shocked hearing her but before anyone could interrupt she continued 

"I didnt come back because that day he came to my house drunk and tried to force himself on me and no one could hear my screams of help because people were blasting patakas and to protect my self respect, my dignity I killed him to protect myself that day these hands were filthy in his blood I called the police immediately and they arrested I was only allowed to make one call and I made it to you but before I could say anything you said you are disappointed in me and hanged up I was in jail for a week because they wont let me call again but after a week super bhaiya fought for me he was ACP there he freed me and took me to his house where bhabhi took care of me", she said while tears started falling from her eyes.

"I tried to kill myself but he got on time but I kept trying so he slapped me several times to bring me back to senses and when I asked him him why did he save me do you know what he said mom? he said he doesnt wants to lose another sister and I fought for him I had nightmares for months I still get them but he was there for me to my psychiatrist visits he was there he was my inspiration to go in the police academy he was there for me when I would get scared near everymen only he was there for me", Priya said closed her eyes and took a deep breath everyone had tears listening to her but no one dared to interrupt.

"I never wanted to return to you who is a reason to my sufferings but he never gave up on me he kept on insisting that I should visit but I didn't budge and do you know at last what he did he talked to the superiors and made me transfer here and you want me to give up on his last memory while he never gave up on me even in his last moments do you know what he said he said that I should give myself a chance and give his child to an orphanage that person who even in his last breaths didn't give up me you want me to give up on his child never mom I will not and I will leave from here first in the morning because I know cant accept him as my son", saying this Priya left to her room with everyone crying.
