Chapter 6
A new start
“It’s good you had an umbrella.” Said Mansi. I gave her a smile and started making ginger tea. I am not sick but I am sneezing. Maybe I got cold.
“Is it OK if you eat eggs? Are you vegetarian?” she asks.
“No, and actually I do love eggs. It’s the best breakfast you can have. With tea.”
Mansi and I are going to share the same room. I met her at college when I went to submit my informational papers. I got to know that she was also looking for a roommate. Hostel rooms are provided but their food is something we don’t want to eat, and also there are many problems with hostels, so we do prefer living in an apartment. This is more like a society, where we have rented a 2bhk apartment. We live on the 3rd floor. We shifted here a week ago. Mansi is actually a nice person. There are a few things that she doesn’t know how to do and, surprisingly, I can do those things quite easily. And some things I can’t do that she can do. So this imperfection makes our bond strong.
We both enjoy ginger tea as well as pakoras while its raining. We do have a beautiful big window in our living room. I told her about that handsome guy I saw today and explained everything. It was almost 1:00 am when we went to sleep.
I am not able to sleep as I keep thinking about that Hrithik Roshan copy! But I really need to forget about him as from tomorrow it’s going to be a new start. These years are going to decide my future. I really need to concentrate there!
BUCK UP JUI ! YOU CAN DO THISS.
My college is from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. In order not to be late, I set my alarm of 6 and went to sleep.
