We were paranoid, making sure everyone and everything is in place, until Eli finds out what they want from us, the whole house is on lockdown, no one goes in or out of the house, that’s the one rule and no more ordering pizza, if a hand was delivered that meant they bugged our phone, they were listening in on our conversation.
“Aria.” Mama called again, my mind was brought back to reality. “I have been calling you for a while now, what are you thinking about?”
“Just the mafia stuff.” I mumbled.
