Entering the luxurious living room, I saw Mrs Donovan carrying two huge vases, and I froze. I forgot to give the old woman the flower and it was even at the hotel. I quickly brought out my phone and texted Jeff, begging him to help me with it. Then I moved closer to her and helped her with one of them. She smiled at me. “Thank you,” she sighed. “Mom sent them,” she added with a soft laugh. “So thoughtful of her,” I nodded in agreement. “Ahh… today is your last day. I’m so sad,” she said with displeasure. “I should be thanking you, Mrs Donovan. You are a good person.” She placed the vase on the table and sighed. “Don’t mention it. If not for you, Kelvin wouldn’t have been able to enter his dream university.” She turned and looked at the flowers for a moment, adjusting them carefully.
