Chapter 3

I did not know what happened next after that kiss. All I could remember was when my friends pulled me back to our table and they fired me a lot a question pertaining about the kiss. When the truth was I had no idea what have had just happened because I was also mental block then. It wasn't my first kiss but it felt like my first from the man of my dreams. Meanwhile my bestfried Marie drove me back home because she knew my dillema about getting home late and its difficulties.

It was a bit hard for me to sleep that night coz of his eyes as if I still feeling his lingering stare, his blue piercing eyes yet a captivating one. But maybe because of the alcohol I fell asleep shortly.

It's sunday morning, thanks God! I woke up with this bad headache and it felt like this hang over will last for a week. That's how alcoholic beverages hit my body why I was only a occassionally drinker, why sometimes I never touched alocohol the entire year.

I got up in bed and went to the bathroom looking for a medicine to lessen my hang over. Damn hang over! So why I preferred milk over heavy drinks, if only it's applicable to parties and bars. Then everybody happy.

On my way to my room when I saw my mother. "What time did you get home last night?" she asked.

"Past twelve, Marie drove me home." I said while walking towards my room, she just nodded and and went to the kitchen. I forgot about Pa, I had not seen him yet and I know he didn't have work during sundays.

I laid down in bed, I still feel bad that's why I really didn't like drinking. Suddenly my phone rang and I answered it immediately when I saw Marie's name.

"Just because you have postpaid it doesn't mean you can call me whatever time you like! It's too darn early for a call, too early for my headache!" I snapped at her. I really feeling sick and this paracetamol not working well.

"..Hello to you Sam, I could imagine now your look while vomitting, well you didn't throw up in my car.. thank you sis." she sighed loudly. "..Anyway, I just call you to say.. make sure you'll come with your CV tomorrow, well even without it you can still apply and pass for the position since I am the head of the HR Department.." she said happily, she's been asking me to work for their company before specifically to her Aunt Claire in Fuentebella & Nordstorm.

"I thought you'll expecting a new CEO? What if he does not like me as his secretary coz he has a high standard. When working with your Aunt Claire is a pressure for me, even I've known her for a while. I know she's nice as a person but when it comes to work she's a bit strict." I took a deep sigh and feeling panic at the same time, I was lack of experience coz I never been work in a related field. Although it's just a secretary position but if you're going to be a personal secretary of a CEO? You must be efficient and effective and I was not sure about it.

"..It's a very simple yet toxic work sis. Easy job. I can train you until you feel comfortable with your job, coz I love you so. And about Aunt Claire, don't worry she's nice and kind.." she said laughing, okay granted that her Aunt Claire was the nicest person in the world and a good boss. But what about the new CEO?

"Fine, since I'm badly in need of work. But you have to train me first." she's a big help.

"..Okay then no problem, see you tomorrow. Shall I fetch you? You know I won't mind.." she said in her happy voice again, she's too excited for this. I smiled, she really got me with this one.

"Yeah, see you tomorrow. I'll just sleep to refresh so I'm ready for tomorrow." I laughed and ended the call. I need a rest. I just needed sleep to relax and another two paracetamol then I'm good.

My eyes snapped open when I remembered him, the blue eyed adonis. He's wearing a white v-neck shirt and faded jeans last night. Unlike the first time I saw him in his suit, but still had the same effect on me. I suddenly touched my lips, I also remembered his hot schorching kiss last night. Closing my eyes as if I could still feel his warm and soft lips on mine. And he's blue piercing eyes, what a breathtaking sight. He's really looked like a prince charming just cut the snobby part.

I fell asleep with him in my mind and crap! He haunted me in my dream. Sweating hard while sitting on the bed, what a dream.. it seemed like my dream had just continued what happened in that bar. In my dream he was kissing me passionately and he's topless.. His broad shoulders, rock hard pecs and burning abs. I blinked my eyes rapidly. Damn, it felt like I was cursed.

I heard a knock. "Sam it's time for dinner. Open the door. Your Pa is looking for you. You only have your breakfast earlier, come and let's eat." Ma said from outside.

I calmed myself as I blew a loud harsh breath, it was just a dream. "Ma, I'm coming." I told her as I got up and fixed myself.

I heard her footsteps away. Later I went out of my room and walked towards the dining and saw my parents started having their dinner. I sat next to Ma, and started eating.

"Your Ma said you would like to apply tomorrow, to your friend in Manila? Marie, right?" Pa asked while eating.

I know that it's okay for them for me to have no job but I wanted to earn my own money again. In the City Hall of Antipolo Pa is working and the salary is okay. While my Ma was a former grade school teacher in Central but now she's a Real Estate Broker. They both having their own car, coz they were both have a decent job. We were living here in Maia Carina where we live here for twenty years. It was very difficult if you did not own a car because you had to hail a ride or walked by yourself out of the guard house that took a quite time.

I drank in my water before responding "Yes Pa, I'm going to apply to be her Aunt's secretary and I had met her she is a nice woman. And just around Quezon city is the woriking place."

"Just try it first. If you think you can handle working there then we will support you on that. Even I would suggest for you to open your own small business. You can open a dress shop, you can maximize the sales through online at least you are the one holding of your time unlike working fulltime as a secretary." he said while looking at me like as if he was reading me. I get it that they can lend me capital, but I was more happy if I could build my own business with my own money. And it's their money much better to save it for their retirement. I think as of now I could work for my future.

"Thank you Pa, but trust me on this, just save your money anyway. I also want a new environment, I'm getting bored here and want to out of my comfort zone." I laughed. I know they trusted me even though they were somehow too over protective.

"Let her do what she wanted, she might too bored here and I think I have more social life than our daughter." Ma smiled at me, come to think of it my Ma has a point, I was too dependent on them to the extent that I was no longer leaving my comfort zone. But I had my reasons.

I washed the dishes after. Later I went up and headed to my room, I had to sleep early.. it's my first day of work tomorrow.
