NINA I couldn’t breathe. I couldn’t think. There was a funny taste in my mouth, metallic. It’s texture was also eerie, thick yet smooth; I had bitten my tongue. I noiselessly swallowed the blood that had oozed from this action. Then I started the task again. I dug my teeth into the flesh of my tongue and pierced its lining.
