I once read about a man who stopped his car on a way to an important business meeting that was bound to make him a billionaire just so he can help an elderly woman fix her broken down car. While he was bent over, examining the elderly woman’s engine, three men emerged out of nowhere. They beat the would-be-billionaire to a pulp and stole his expensive car. This particular carjack was talked about for a long time. It was a cold reminder that the world can be an apathetic place. It was a cold reminder that humans had the capacity to hurt one another in unimaginable ways.
It was a cold reminder that people were unpredictable and that some, did not deserve help. They deserved a bullet wound right through the glabella.
The would-be-billionaire died upon arriving at the hospital.
