Chapter 4

Same day at KT Corporation

Thanayong Anandana is the CEO of KT Corporation. He wanted his son Alex to take over his company but his son wanted to learn so he let him be. The Anandana family has hotel chains, companies, malls, and universities under them. Alex is the sole heir of the Anandana empire.

Thanayong was working on some files and he heard a knock on the door. He said come in, Adam, his loyal head of bodyguard team came inside.

Thana- "So.. Did you finish your work?"

Adam nodded proudly and pushed a file in front of Thanayong which contained details.

Adam owes his life to Thanayong, he can do anything for the Anandana family. When he was a little boy, his drunk dad borrowed so much from loan sharks. When Adam turned 14, his dad sold him to loan sharks so they can make him p********e in their dark club bar. When he was taken by them, he tricked them and ran for his life. At that time, Thanayong saw that boy on the road trying to escape from loan sharks. Thanayong saved him, gave education to him, gave him a job to work, and he gave a new life to Adam. So he owes it to the Anandana family.

Thana- "So tell me what you got?"

Adam- "His name Aiden Rattana only son of James Rattana. His mother died when he was just an a old year kid. Aiden is sole heir of Rattana family. He runs so many legal businesses including illegal ones. His dad from mafia world, he gave his mafia to Aiden Rattana when he was just 18 years old but not completely. When Aiden Rattana turned 20 , he took over the mafia completely. He is cold and ruthless in the mafia world and the most important thing is that he has imprisoned two people for the past 10 years. Reason is that two persons killed his loved one."

Thanayong nodded.

Thana- "What about his love life?" He wanted to be sure because he kind of rejected his son.

Adam- "He don't have lover, sir."

's**t. It means he lied to my son. Why?' He thought..

Thanayong- "Are you sure?"

Adam- "Yes sir but he had a boyfriend in school, but that boyfriend was dead. That's why Aiden Rattana imprisoned the two person's who killed his boyfriend. After that he never had any relationship even he never had a one night stand. He loved his late lover a lot." Thanayong nodded. He felt pity for Aiden. He sighed.

Thana- "My baby already has 4 bodyguards. Even though my baby was not aware of it, increase his bodyguard's number to 8. Protect him at any cost. Even little scratch on his I won't spare anyone."

Adam- "Sir what are you afraid of? Aiden Rattana?

Thanayong- "Not him but his mafia world. My baby is working with him. What if something happens to him? What if someone attacks Aiden Rattana when is with my baby? What if Aiden Rattana rivals make my baby as Target just because he is working for him. I don't want to take any chance."

Adam chuckled. He knows how much Thanayong loves his son.

Adam- "Sir, I will alot 4 more members as his bodyguards and also I implanted one bodyguard to Alex baby in MSJ corporation. One of my most talented one in my team working as a employee in MSJ corporation."

Thanayong brows creased..

Thana- "Why don't you tell me? Who is that person?"

Adam pushed another file which contains details of the bodyguard.

Adam- "He is the best in my team. He has the best reflexes, he is best in combat fighting, hand to hand fighting, in black belt. He can spy someone without their notice. He can mislead someone who is tailing him without their awareness. He is best in weapons. He can mask any emotions within seconds. He has a cute face that can deceive anyone. I hope our Alex baby will befriend him. So it will be easy for him to guard our baby."

Thanayong nodded. Adam continued his words..

Adam- "When Alex baby decided to apply for jobs, he told me he was going to apply in 3 companies. So I sent three of my men to those companies for jobs. What if he is selected by one of those companies, so we can protect him? Those bodyguards are not only good at work but they are well educated so they got selected by those companies before our baby faces the interview. Now Alex baby selected by MSJ, so one of our bodyguard is there inside company as employee."

Thanayong felt proud of Adam because Adam not only respects him, he also adores his son so much..

Thana- "You adore my son so much."

Adam- "Am sir. Because I treat him as my little brother. You gave a life to me, Ampha madam gave mother love to me and Alex baby shows love of siblings. Am no one in front of your family but still I can say I have people who love me. That's your family, sir. I know how much you love Alex baby. Even I can do anything for him to protect him because he is my little brother."

Thanayong's heart was content by Adam's words...

Thana- "Adam, I already asked you so many times to call me Dad, Ampha as mom but why didn't you?"

Adam chuckled sadly....

Adam- "Dad.. Mom.. Am tormented by those words sir because of my worst past.. I don't like those words sir.. Am okay calling you as sir." He said looking down. Thanayong understood where he was coming from and he nodded. After Adam left, he immersed in work.

At Anandana Mansion

After coming from the office, Alex is still in a daze. He flopped on his bed and drifted his mind somewhere. He can't wipe off his CEO's tear filled eyes. By thinking about those, his heart tightened. 'Is he okay? His friends are the reason for those tears?' By thinking that he wanted to rip the one who is the reason for it...

's**t!! Why do I want to rip them? Why am I feeling hurt, anxiety towards his tears? It's affecting me a lot. I need to calm down both my heart and head' with that thought he shot up from bed and went to his cupboard. He is searching for something, his eyes lighten up when he finds it in a small box. He took it from the box and sat on the edge of the bed holding it tightly.

His mind and heart relaxed after a few seconds of holding it. He always wonders 'why I am okay when I hold it.. It gives warmth to my heart, it relaxes me from every possible hurt. That's why it's important to my life. I know I am exaggerating about a ring but I can't help it. My emotions, tensions and anxiety always come under control when I hold this ring. I wonder why?'

I always wanted to wear this ring but it's too small for my finger. My mom told me my parents bought this when I was a teen so that's something I can't wear but I don't know why I am very eager to wear this ring now.. How? It won't fit my finger? How am I supposed to wear it? Yeah.. Idea' he went search in his accessories box, he found a platinum chain. He slipped his ring into a platinum chain as a pendant then he wore that chain on neck.

He holds that ring, It's perfect so I can wear it anytime. He jumped happily. After getting freshen up he went down for dinner.

His mom Ampha placed his favorite food on a plate. He is munching happily. Ampha observed a chain with a ring on his baby.

Ampha- "Baby, Why are you wearing it like that?

Alex- "Mom, It's too small for my finger that's I wear it like this. It's nice, right?"

Ampha- "Baby, you have so many rings in your accessories. If you want I can buy like hundreds. Why do you need to wear like this? Actually it's looks good on you but still-"

Alex- "Mom, I feel warm with this ornament. I don't need hundreds like this. I just need this one."

Ampha thought for a while and sighed. At last she gave a smile to her son.

At Aiden's Penthouse

Aiden bids goodbye to Mild at Dungeon but Mild insists on coming with him to the penthouse because Mild knows Aiden is not in right mind because of those bastard words. Both pulled over at his penthouse.

Aiden went inside and took a glass of water to drink but when those bastard words flash in his mind, he grips his hold on the glass tight until it's broken in his hands and makes it bleed.

Mild hurriedly went towards him, he made him sit on the sofa. Mild took a medical kit, cleaned it and did a bandage.

Mild heart shattered when he saw his best friend's situation. He sighed,

Mild- "Aiden, don't think too much. It's not your fault. You also know that. Please take care of yourself." Aiden didn't reply, he just leaned on the sofa and closed eyes.

Mild sighed. He knows that Aiden won't speak in a situation like this after a few minutes, Mild went to his house leaving Aiden alone. Aiden drifted into sleep on the sofa.

"P'Aiden.. *crying* P'Aiden... Please save me" His nong crying in a dark room.

"Nong.. Where are you? Why am I not able to See you?" Aiden searched for him in a dark room. He can only hear a loud cry from his nong.. It's breaking his heart..

Suddenly he found himself in the desert..

"Nong.. Nong.. Where are you?" He is also crying hard..

"We killed him" He heard two voices behind him.. His world stops when he hears his nong is dead..

"Nongggggggg"

"Nonggggg"

He fell from sofa. His body is full of sweat. He is shaking from nightmare. He looked at watch it's showing 3.30 in the middle of the night. His heart aching again with thought of his nong. He curled up himself on floor and starts to crying. He didn't sleep after.

Morning

Alex is waiting for his CEO. He was nervous and anxious to know about his CEO's emotional status. His hand went to his ring, hold it tightly, he took deep breaths. It somehow calms his heart. He shoved that ring chain inside shirt and buttoned it up.

After a good few minutes, Aiden came inside with red eyes, fluffy cheeks and gloomy face. It's evident that he cried the whole night.

Alex greeted him with a smile.

"Good morning, Mr. Rattana. Here is your black coffee." He greeted and offered coffee. After settling on a chair, Aiden stretched his hand and took coffee. Alex's eyes widened when he saw the bandage on Aiden's hand.

Alex- "Mr. Rattana, What happened to your hand?"

Aiden is not in the mood.

Aiden - "It's none of your business Mr. Anandana."

Alex ignored it. He grabbed Aiden's hand in his. Aiden's eyes widened but he felt warm when Alex held his hand.

Alex - "What you did yourself Mr. Rattana? When did it happen? And when it is bandaged?" He asked in a little raised tone.

Aiden- "Yesterday night" He didn't know why he bothered to answer him. He witnessed worry in his secretary's eyes . It somehow warms his heart.

Alex- "Yesterday night? Then let me clean once again. Let me dress it up. You can't keep it like this." With that he released Aiden's hand and went to search for a medical kit. Aiden felt disappointed when Alex retracted his hand. He felt cold now. 'Why does it warm when he holds me?'

Alex came back with a medical kit and asked his CEO to sit on the sofa. He sat beside him and started to clean the wound with worry filled eyes.

Aiden observed him, his mind drifted to his nong.. 'He also gets worried if something happens to me, just like you my secretary'
