Regina struggled to hold back her tears, glancing up at Faye, who appeared both intimidating and imposing. She felt as if she no longer recognized the best friend she had grown up with.
The Faye she knew would never raise her voice at her, let alone hit her.
"Are you insane, Faye?" Regina glared at her viciously.
Seeing through her intentions, Faye coldly replied, "Do you think I'm still the weak fool you could manipulate?"
She stepped closer. "From now on, don't ever lay a finger on my stuff again, or I'll teach you a lesson whenever you do! I'll use every trick in the book against you!"
The moment she stepped into her office, Faye had made up her mind.
