"What kind of clothes are these? Why do I have to wear them?" Serina grumbled in the bathroom while changing. "Look at this, it's too short, tight, flashy, and... doesn't suit me." Serina criticized herself as she looked in the mirror in the bathroom. "Why are you still taking so long? I don't have much time left, hurry up, or you won't get anything!" Edward yelled, calling Serina from behind the door. He glanced at his watch, which already showed twelve o'clock. Serina, who heard Edward's call, quickly came out of the bathroom without paying attention to her appearance in the mirror. "What do you think, does this suit me?" Serina asked after finishing changing and was now ready to leave. Edward, who saw Serina had changed into her new clothes, was taken aback and amazed by the outfit Serina was wearing. "It's perfect. It turns out that hiring that servant wasn't a waste." Edward praised the servant he had asked for help. He didn't expect the servant to be of such great help. The clothes Serina wore weren't too cheap and looked classy, making Edward not worry about Serina's appearance. Plus, Serina's face already looked beautiful with just a little bit of powder and lipstick. "Well, let's go then." Edward walked away, inviting Serina. Serina found it a bit challenging to keep up with Edward's pace because she wasn't used to wearing high heels, making her walk slowly and very carefully. "When will we arrive if you walk that slowly?" Edward called out to Serina, who was already visible at the doorway. Walking carefully and slowly, Edward, who was getting impatient, quickly got into the car and started the engine. "Get in quickly, or I'll leave you behind." Serina, who didn't want to be left behind, quickly got in. "What is she doing? I told her to hurry up. Why is she..." Serina took off her high heels and quickly ran towards Edward's car. She got in very quickly. Her initiative to take off her high heels earlier left her stunned. "You're not a good woman, are you?" Edward said, glancing sideways at Serina, who was busy putting on her seatbelt. Serina replied to Edward's gaze with a flat expression, speaking casually, "I never said I was a good woman." "Whatever." Edward smiled and refocused on driving his car. Now they arrived at Okalinea shop, the largest mall in New York. "Wow, don't tell me this is the place we're going to shop?" Serina, who was amazed by the mall's exterior. The mall was much bigger than any she had ever visited before. "Why are you silent? Hurry up and get in, and find what you need. I didn't bring you here to admire the building." Edward snapped Serina out of her reverie. "Are you serious? We're going to go in?" Serina looked at Edward with wide eyes, disbelieving that they would actually go in just to buy supplies for her. "Hmmm, what's wrong?" "You know, this mall must have expensive stuff. Let's just find another place with affordable prices." Serina turned back to the car, refusing to shop at the mall. "I think the prices here are reasonable and affordable." Edward looked at the mall, putting his hands in his pockets and standing casually, with an arrogant air. Serina, who was already sitting in the car, looked at Edward flatly from outside. "That's because you're rich, you wouldn't understand if you weren't in my position." Serina pulled the seatbelt to get ready before Edward got in and took her away again. "Do you think I'll give you another check?" Edward turned around, looking straight at Serina, who was already ready and waiting for him in the car. "Why are you asking? Isn't it already certain?" Serina looked at Edward flatly. He sighed, then reluctantly said, "yes.” "It's okay, no need to be like that. I won't give you another check, because I just want to buy something for you. Didn't you say that my place wasn't fully equipped for a rental with a price of fifty million?" Edward reminded Serina of their previous conversation. "Just consider it as equipment for a break-even point for the rental fee I gave you," Edward continued. "No need, I'd rather find another place." That's what Serina said before eventually spending a lot of money to buy a computer, laptop, phone, and many other electronic accessories that were related to them and useful. All the items she bought had very expensive price tags, and accordingly, they also had good quality that couldn't be denied. "How is it, do you like it?" Edward asked when he saw Serina's face filled with joy and happiness. "Doesn't my face show it?" Serina asked back, her hands full of her shopping bags. Edward smiled slightly at Serina's attitude. As they were about to leave the mall, Edward accidentally saw a piece of jewelry that caught his attention. He told Serina to go ahead and wait for him in the car because there was something he wanted to look for. Serina, who was already complaining about the many things she had bought, didn't ask any further questions and quickly left as Edward had asked. After Serina walked away from him, Edward then walked towards the jewelry store that caught his attention. "Hello, can you show me that piece of jewelry?" Edward asked, pointing to the necklace on a mannequin's neck. The necklace had beautiful pearls and a combination of gold that blended perfectly, making it very suitable for his mother to wear. "Of course, sir," the salesperson replied, taking the item Edward had pointed to and handing it to him. Edward examined the jewelry closely and in great detail. Unfortunately, the jewelry was only an imitation made from gold-colored metal coins, which made him disappointed. "Is there any gold jewelry that looks like this?" Edward asked the salesperson at the mall. "We don't sell gold, sir, we only sell jewelry like this and silver, nothing more than that." The salesperson explained. "In that case, wrap this one for me." Edward handed over the necklace with a pendant that was beautifully displayed. "Of course, sir, you can wait while I wrap it." The salesperson told Edward to sit down while he waited for the jewelry to be wrapped. "Who is this for, sir? Is it for your girlfriend? Wife? Or for your family?" the salesperson asked while removing the necklace from the mannequin's neck. Edward just stared blankly. The salesperson smiled awkwardly. "I won't tell anyone, I'm just asking to see which box would be suitable for this necklace," the salesperson said. "For someone I love," Edward replied. "How romantic, for you to do something like this for your girlfriend, she'll definitely be happy with a gift like this, but maybe she'll be disappointed when she finds out it's not real gold. So, I think you'd better find another genuine piece of jewelry so she won't be too sad with what we're giving you." The salesperson gave advice and explained in detail how women react when they're disappointed. "Okay, thank you." "Akh!" A woman's voice cried out as she accidentally bumped into Edward. "You!”
