And that’s how I somehow ended up in Ryan’s office. Time to deal with that issue as well.
I was standing by the window when Clare walked into Ryan's office and sat on the sofa. Ryan was sitting behind his desk waiting as well for me to get to the point of why I was here.
Once Clare was settled, Ryan’s cold stare turned to me. "Now that we're all here, why don't you tell us what this is all about?"
"I'd like to wrap up some business." I smiled at him and noticed Clare looking at me suspiciously.
"What business?" she asked and I knew she would be confused as to why she was here until she read the agreements.
"I have two different divorce agreements," I replied.
