Raghav's point of view.
Her voice has been ringing in my ears-
I hate you, Raghav. I hate you.
I hate you, Raghav. I hate you.
I hate you, Raghav. I hate you.
The shriller words aren't new or abrupt. They belonged to Kuhu some two years back yet they annoy till date like someone scrapping the nails on a blackboard. My foolishness and the zeal to win has led that tiny innocent girl hate someone to such extent for the first time. Isn't it a sarcasm to mention that I was the one to teach her the dialects of love yet I'm the one whom she hates the most.
"Sir, Mr. Jackson wants to hand over some files regarding Mr. Rakesh Malhotra." stated the strong and determined voice of Karan Oberoi, my personal assistant and secretary.
"Let him in." I ordered Karan to fetch Jackson. Jackson's arrival directs some consipiracies ahead in the deceitful mind of that bastard Rakesh. I'll wrench his heart out if he intends to hurt Kuhu anymore.

"Sir, Rakesh Malhotra wasn't seen nearby Miss Rathore after your encounter with him at Rathore Constructions that day. But yesterday at 4 O'clock in the afternoon Kuhu ma'am left for some unknown place driving herself from her office. I thought of following her for her safety. After hours of drive in the marine drive road, she halted at her regular and secluded spot at the beach. None of her friends accompanied her, she was all alone. May be she wished to have her personal space and to claim her own right to peace. No sooner did an hour pass, than Mr. Rakesh's car stopped near that of hers. I overheard their conversations. Afterwards I followed her back to Rathore Residence to make sure she returned safe and secured." Mr. Jackson detailed each and every information quickly standing firm and composed.
"What did they talk?" Raghav yelled to know supposing Rakesh manipulated Kuhu's mind in anyway whereas Jackson's quitetude killed him more within.
"Cat caught your tongue? Answer me! I pay you to be loyal to me. Karan, his payments and the expenses of his family for the next three months should be taken care of precisely. Will you open your mouth now?" Raghav's yearnings took over his own mind. His wrath didn't let him sit any longer so he took to his feet to shout this loudly.
"It's not about money, sire. My loyalty will serve you till my death and will pass on from my next generations to generations for how you have saved my family from the hands of adverse peril. Because whatever I'm going to speak is a bit personal between you and madam, I need some privacy." Jackson spoke eyeing Raghav towards Karan.
"Okay! Karan! Don't let anyone in until the minute hand crosses exact 15 minutes. Watch over outside this room." Raghav commanded.
"I got it sir. Things will go as you order." Karan obeyed Raghav sincerely and left the room to safeguard their conversations.
"Take your seat. You can speak unequivocally now, Mr. Jackson." Both of them settled down to discuss attentively.
"Sir, Miss Rathore was startled by Mr. Rakesh's presence over there. She asked a sorry for your misbehaviour towards Mr. Rak..." Jackson trailed off as Raghav raised his right eyebrow hearing the words 'your misbehaviour'.
"Sir, I would rather suggest you to focus on what I'm going to enlighten you now." Raghav paid attention to him.
"Mr. Rakesh held madam's hands in his palms and asked her to call this marriage off." Raghav clenched his fists to punch that Rakesh right then to death.
Jackson witnessed his furious actions so he continued with the other side of their conversation briskly. The beautiful side of Kuhu's feelings for Raghav, hoping that might cool down his hot temper.
"Whereas ma'am took your side in every possible way to support you. She never lets you down before Mr. Rakesh. Infact she confessed her entombed love for you, before him, rejecting his proposal. Now that he has instigated Miss Rathore to interrogate you about how you get to know about the finest details of her and her business, my position at her office isn't that safe now. I must resign. Infact she would feel ditched provided she gets to know that Mr. Rathore, the Director of Rathore constructions has gifted you with 40% shares of Rathore constructions as dowry. I mean it's not a dowry, you or your family never demanded anything before him. Rather he himself gifted it to you, considering you as his most elligible heir. Hoping you could make the company reach the heights of success and would stay coordinated with Miss Kuhu even professionally. But before its late or ma'am asks you about the shares; you need to clarify it. If she gets to hear this from other sources she would take the otherwise meaning of dowry. She would once again have a reason to hate you or cancel this marriage." Jackson explained Raghav so deeply the pros and cons of misunderstandings expected in near future.
"Okay, I'll take care of that. Stay at madam's office till I say. I'll inform you when to quit. But stop spilling coffee on my shirts. That's disgusting." Raghav chuckled digesting Jackson's mischievous smile.
With a cunning smirk Jackson too replied,"Sire, that was meant to regain madam's pity, a little trust and her concern after a gap. I thought the situation to be perfect to test her impressions on me currently. So I couldn't miss hitting the chance."
Getting out of his seat to depart after executing his work of detailing about the important going-ons in his madam's life to Mr. Raghav he said,"Then I must put an attendance to my job today at Rathore Constructions before 10 O' clock. I should leave!"
'No wonder why he remains the highest paid detective in the country' Raghav recalled smiling to himself as Mr. Jackson walked out of the room shutting the door. That smile of him was not beaming on being prideful of his intellectual decision of hiring the best private investigator to secure Kuhu. It was rather an indication of his flushed emotions on Kuhu's confession about their perpetual love.
Raghav's point of view
Things are getting tougher in my part especially when Kuhu gets hold of my emotions, when she catches my motives and intensions so brilliantly. How does she read my heart with such clarity? Even yesterday she could make out my feelings of love for her at her office even though I denied her curtly. Because it was my ego talking then not me. She caught hold of my possessiveness. Notwithstanding the fact that she is beautiful, she has got excellent brains. It's a bumper offer I'm grabbing the beauty plus brains. And the slightest thought of another man around my gal boils the hot blood in my veins. She's the purest of all girls I have spent my satisfying nights with. So pious that even I never took her to my rooms. I have saved her all for myself! She has got charms and innocence sexier than the hotties, I often threw on my bed to r****h. Its her intense depth of love that has abstained me from exploring the other beautiful curves nearby.
Two years were long and difficult. It's still out of my imagination as to how I lived even a second without her. I feel like loitering around her everyday now, till I have her fully for myself after marriage. Although I was out of her sight but I never laid my eyes off her whereabouts in these two years. Each and every business deal her company cracks is under my bird's eye view. I too have appointed my private investigator Mr. Jackson as a mere peon at her office. There's nothing like I'm suspicious of her. I just want my things, my belongings...umm I mean. I can say! That's like.... I just want my family which now includes her too, to be safe. It's a bit weird to think of her as my wife, 'cos it's completely a new phase of my life I'm going to start with her.
She was never just a girlfriend to me. Rather she is my soulmate, the involuntary breathings of my prosperous life. But life then changed. The farewell party changed everything between us. That's the reason that son of Malhotra has come so close to her. He has been trying to occupy my place in her heart but I know to what extent I have inscribed my name in her heart. My space was never vacated in her heart. So how could an opportunist or exploitative like Rakesh fill it up? She can't really moveon. She can't get over me.
Mr. Jackson's aptness made me aware of the proposal that Rakesh made before Kuhu. I wish I had been there I would just gouge his eyes out for how he dared to dream of marriage and family with my Kuhu. My hands were tied, I couldn't visit Kuhu's office directly all of a sudden. Rakesh threatened me endangering my queen. So I made a drastic move using my pawn, Mr. Jackson to sway his attention off Kuhu and I put a step stronger and more forward to check him mate from all the directions and finally safeguarding my queen, my win! But this game is not just on the board that once the king is dead; the match's over. This is a real game! No doubt I emerge as the winner always but this time I just don't want to hurt my queen in anyway in this war. She deserves to be protected being my lucky charm. 'Lucky charm!' The words pulled me two years back to the days of college.
*Flashback 2 begins*
"Kuhu! Where were you? I have been calling you for last 30 minutes. You know I don't go for my exams without your wishes. Comeon be fast. Exam is gonna start in next 5 minutes." Raghav demanded an instant goodluck wish to Kuhu standing at the door of examination hall conducting the final year assessments.
"Sorry Raghav. I mean All the best topper! Emerge victorious my ideal hero. Why do you need my best wishes everytime? Its your hardwork that pays off. Don't share the credits of your success with me." Kuhu talked over her phone holding the file of list of plans and programmes at the venue of the farewell party that had been planned for Raghav's batch.
"Now a days, I don't need to read my books to score well. It's just a goodluck wish I need from my luckycharm Kuhu to c***k even the toughest exam. You see it happened last time too. Even though questions were out of syllabus I secured the first rank as always." Raghav chuckled.
"My boyfriend's being utterly-butterly-cheesy." Kuhu chortled.
"What were you doing by the way? You seem busy." Raghav asked the reason because for the first time he had to ask a goodluck wish for himself otherwise Kuhu never forgot wishing him.
"I'm busy checking out the last minute changes made for the farewell party. Our Principal has personally imposed the full responsibility on me. I just don't want to let him down. But I didn't forget your exams its just that sir made me busy all day." Kuhu apologised for being late.
"You are paying him a lot of respect. He's a popat in himself. Chill. Don't stress yourself. Do your work with as much ease as possible." Raghav always tried to pamper Kuhu in whatever way possible.
"Don't ridicule our principal. Students from your batch do that a lot. He's an elderly person. We should respect him. Oh god! You're getting late. Just go!" Kuhu reminded Raghav of his 5 minutes schedule which was meant to get finished anytime now.
"Okay! Okay! I'm going. Don't push me away." Raghav waited a minute without cutting the call because its always a fight between them who would end the call first. Kuhu didn't end it either.
"Kuhu?"
"Yeah?" Kuhu replied back 'cos she expected Raghav to speak.
"I love you." Raghav let his heart clearout its emotions before he sat for the exam. He wanted a mind free of Kuhu to attempt the exam attentively.
"Love you too. But I miss you a lot." Kuhu too wanted to speak her heart out so desperately. It's because of Kuhu's preparations and Raghav's exams that made them stay away and miss each other so much.
"Take care. Buhbyee."
"See you at the party. Byeeee."
"Seya!"
*Flashback 2 ends*
No doubt she is my personal amulet like my mom remains to my dad. I see my future and family with her 'cos for me she's the way, how one day my dad had planned his future with my mom. I sighed back to my fabric office arm chair relaxing myself and being gratified of my choices and privileges.
