CHAPTER 16 | Libby –––––––– I don’t know how Finn did it, but he got us a room at the St. Regis. The hotel is across the street from the Fox and all kinds of gorgeous. I’ve never been inside, but even the lobby exceeds the hype. Huge chandeliers blaze against the gathering winter dark and the dark stained floors gleam as we head for the elevators. I’m actually a little nervous. Everything is so...fancy. It feels like stepping into a way more glamourous world than mine and yet here’s Finn, walking through like he owns the place. “What?” he asks, glancing at me and squeezing my hand. “Do I have something on my face?” I laugh. “No. I was just thinking.” He grins. “You know how I feel about that.” And as we wait for an elevator to arrive, he sweeps me into his arms for a kiss.
